Where better to go in Montenegro?
Good afternoon.
All women with a holiday of spring!
I have a question, we are planning to go to Montenegro in the summer for a vacation with a 10-year-old child. We are going abroad for the first time and would like to know from knowledgeable people about holidays in Montenegro.
When is the best time to go there in summer?
Where is it better to go with a child so that the sea is nearby, in which city? Noisy places with discos and naked women on the beach are not needed.
How to choose food, eat in a hotel or in a cafe, which is more profitable?
With a budget of about 1000 dollars, without a flight, is it possible to relax in Montenegro for 10 days, or do you need to rely on a large amount? (flight from Kyiv)
I'd love to hear any advice or recommendations.
Maksim.

Damn, I made a mistake in the title of the topic!
Please correct the moderators, this is "better" for better.

in Montenegro it will be warm only from June to September.
Beaches and hotels nearby are in Rafailovici and Becici. Accommodations are divided into hotels and villas. Villas are private houses converted into boarding houses. With a child, it will not be very convenient there - there are no places to relax on the territory, there is nothing to do - just leave things and sleep. The hotel still has better infrastructure, but hotels are much more expensive.

Maxim, write me an email, I will tell you everything in more detail. Now there are already promotions for early booking, maybe something will come up somehow. I was in Montenegro, I saw hotels and villas, I will help in any way I can

Last year, in July-August, we rested with the whole family in Croatia. I liked the country very much !!!!! Our town was called Vodice, the hotel "Imperial" took breakfast and dinner. Enough for all the husband and son of 18 years. The sea is very clean azure, the air is healing with iodine and pine needles, because. beautiful pine trees grow along the coast. This air can be poured into a glass and drunk like wine. The country is visa-free, which is also very nice. Yes. the sea is 30 meters from the beach. (pebble) Everything is simple for 5+++++

We rested in June, a family with two children (2 years old). Better than on the Boka Koto Riviera, we didn’t like it anywhere in Montenegro. The Bay of Kotor warms up faster, there are no crowds and noisy discos, like in Rafailovichi, Budva. tratoria format, full board for one person (breakfast, lunch, dinner) - 9 euros per person. My advice is to go there and don’t look at what they write about the beach from Panton, there are ordinary ones. The beaches are better than in Crimea. In general, we are going now to Italy, to the Tuscan coast. The budget for four is $ 1300 with accommodation and flights, who from Ukraine will join.

Yes, you can rest for your amount.

Maxim, I would advise another country for the first time, for example Turkey. For this money, you and your child will get more positive emotions. Still, money will play an important role. As for Montenegro, I can say one thing, do not consider Budva. Firstly, as mentioned above, there are very few hotels on the first line, plus noisy, etc. There is no vacation with children! And finally, do not believe all the comments :)

Alex72-28, it turns out that your comment cannot be trusted either! I always write what I know, and if a person is interested in Montenegro, and not Turkey, I write about Montenegro.
I have been there many times, the countries are completely different and
their impressions too.

Maxim! The Bay of Kotor is considered a fiord, there is practically no wave, which I like,
children at the age of 2 splashed in the water and I didn’t worry about them. In cafes, food was served so much that there were enough plates of food for two. Montenegrins have a Slavic mentality, good-natured people who have not yet been spoiled by the tourism industry.
is also not bad for children's recreation and I recommend that you still read the comments, they are written for beginners.

Would you like to consider Petrovac (Montenegro) by any chance?
not as popular (read: fewer crowds) as in Budva
the town is very beautiful
By the way, yes, in cafes the portions are very large

In this scenario, like Maxim, you can choose Becici! Choosing a hotel or a villa is up to the tourist to decide.
And my opinion is that a child of 10 years old is no longer a baby, no matter how boring his vacation in Becici is (whoever was, will understand, let me know), especially if the child is active and does not sit still for a second, and is inquisitive from nature. Budva will not PR, rest in the city deteriorates every year .. M.B. Herceg Novi? Serbs and Montenegrins consider it the most respectable of Monte's cities! (Becici, yet somehow more for non-Balkan tourists). Not as violent as in Budva, but very beautiful! True, entry into the sea is not very good, pebbles, or a platform, sand is rarely seen!
The high season is July-August, it's hot! June is the best! Well, still the very end of August, and until September 15th. Then the weather deteriorates sharply.
PS. Food portions are huge! Well, yes! ))) So it's not only in Monte, but in all countries of the world .. except, apparently, Russia! )))

We really liked Petrovac - a small cozy town. I agree with the previous comments about Budva - you really shouldn’t go there - noisy, crowds of tourists. Except once in the old city. I also consider Kotor to be an unusually beautiful place, but as for relaxing with a child there, I don’t know how it is with the beach and hotels. But if you have the opportunity to go and see - be sure to do it, it's very beautiful there.

Good evening everyone.
Thank you very much for the feedback, there is something to think about what to choose in the future.
(if you have any more questions, I hope you can tell me)
Maxim.

Yes, Kotor is very beautiful, but the largest and most famous discos of the Czech Republic are located there, so that the party is no less than in Budva!

Hello everyone! I really want to visit Montenegro, but I don’t know where exactly. There are no children, so it’s good where there is life, movement. And there are no mothers with days.

So. In Montenegro, you need a car. It is better to live with children in quiet Petrovac, and go to Budva and Podgorica for entertainment (there is a water park and attractions), and, of course, show them all the beauty of this country from the height of the mountains. I think the canyons will impress them. Have a nice holiday!
