I paid in supermarkets and gas stations in the Czech Republic without any problems. But it is noticeable there that cash is held in high esteem and in small terminal stores there is not so much.

It's a breeze to ride with simple cards, they are not chipped yet ...

I have a credit card from Privat Bank, well, such a visa with a strawberry :-). Not personalized, no signature required. Once they foisted it on me in a private bank, opened a deposit, it was a long time ago. It is credit, 30 days without interest, or maybe more, I don’t remember, I changed it 3 years ago for a new one. Serves as my wallet when cash is not at hand.
So I paid with it in Budva and Becici, and in Albania too (in a restaurant for coffee and beer). In Italy, France, Holland also took. There is only one problem: if you pay more than 70 euros (like this, 68-72, I won’t say for sure), it no longer works, probably there is a limit, I didn’t increase it.
Although in the private bank itself, before traveling to Europe, I was recommended to draw up some kind of "European" one, I don’t remember how much it costs, in my opinion 50 grams, and it takes 10 days, I didn’t draw it up, I didn’t manage to meet the deadlines. This strawberry visa of mine worked. All you had to do was enter your PIN every time. But in the restaurant they brought me a portable terminal, entered it without getting up.

With strawberries, it's like (!) A classic. I also have - this is a credit card - their main card. The withdrawal limit is removed in private 24 and by phone personally by you. The main thing is to go to Privat 24 and cancel the credit limit or refuse the overdraft! So as not to drive yourself into hard minuses.

My opinion is that Privat is the bank where it is better not to communicate with employees in the bank ;-) They will fill you with cards from head to toe, even European ones, even with key cards, even with minicredit cards. Their job is to vparivat cards)))
Everything is written on the Privat website and in the contract (although now they no longer give an agreement for opening cards). I like systems without communication with people, I like Privat 24.
It's easier for me - I don't lose anything and don't forget ;-)

In general, I opened a ball card visa electron not personalized. Any bank issues it instantly and absolutely free. It is debit, i.e. there can only be money put by the owner on the card. Her sweetheart should be accepted anywhere where there is a terminal connected to the Internet. Also, from the inconvenience, as far as I understood, the bank controls all card payments online and in case of "suspicions" any amount can be blocked by the bank. After a call to the bank's call center, I tried for a long time to understand the word "suspicious payment" and did not hear an unequivocal answer. The only thing is that the bank advised before the trip to notify them which country you are going to and for how long, so that the bank does not block "suspicious payments")))) And yet, any bank immediately says that this card is not quite suitable for traveling over the hill, but after persistent requests to explain why, he still agrees that this is just a recommendation, not a rule. In other words, problems may arise, but this is not a rule, but exceptions)))) Therefore, if you want to pay everywhere and always anywhere in the world, buy a personalized card and not lower than visa class (the processing time is 10 days) or, as I do, I don’t invest on time then nameless!
