As for excursions - the whole island is about 145 by 45 km, we took an individual car and a Russian guide, it's more expensive than mass excursions, but much more convenient. For 2 days we traveled the whole island, there is something to see. For this they gave about 600 euros. There may not be organized excursions, because it is difficult to gather a Russian-speaking group, we were alone in our hotel. . . the lagoon is incomparable, be sure to take masks, there are fewer living creatures than in the Red Sea, but there is something to see. .. There were also sea snakes. . . In general, the rest is not cheap, but very good. The ebbs and flows are not pronounced, because there is a reef that holds back the ocean wave, in the morning in the lagoon it can be a little above the knees of the water, in the evening up to the neck, something like this. . .

May was great! I talked with the locals - they say that they have such weather all year round. This is not hellish heat, but it is comfortable, around 28 degrees, plus very warm water in the ocean.
