What documents are required to travel to Poland with a child?
Good afternoon, I want to take my child with me to Poland (he is 4 years old). We are traveling with my husband (not in a civil marriage, the child is his, but not registered in his name). What documents are required for the trip? Can I bring a child with a biometric passport? Or do you need a work visa? Thanks)

For children to go abroad you need a passport or travel document for a child, in this case if you have a biometric passport of a child in Poland, departure from Ukraine for children under 15 only accompanied by one parent + notarized copy of permission for the child of another parent, if without notarized copy of the other parent, you need the following of the listed original documents or notarized copies: - death certificate of the other parent;
- court decision on deprivation of parental rights of the other parent;
- court decision declaring the other parent missing;
- court decision declaring the other parent incompetent;
- court decision on granting permission to leave Ukraine to a citizen who has not reached 16 years of age, without the consent and accompaniment of another parent;
- birth certificate of the child, issued by the Civil Registry Office, indicating the grounds for entering information about the father in accordance with the first part of Article 135 of the Family Code of Ukraine

You are not in Poland, you need to participate in a reality show.

"his child, but not registered for him" (straight Santa Barbara) - this is of little concern to the border guards. Only what is in the documents is the truth for them. If the child is registered with another man, then you were answered in the first answer. If the child is recorded according to the mother's words, no certificates are needed. That is, you are the sole guardian of the child.

The census "I heard something but I don't remember what" is over, can I get to the point?
Apparently, the author is going to Poland to work, and there are 2 options:
1.) the child travels simply by biometrics. But then, after a period of 90 days, he will be restricted to travel abroad, he will be able to move only within the EU. If it is necessary to bring him back to Ukraine, then they will not let him into Poland.
2.) The parent (namely the mother) has a work visa. Then the child also needs to apply for a type D visa, they will give it for the same period as the mother, and the child will be able to travel back and forth without restrictions. A type D visa for a child is free, you just need to pay a service fee to the visa center (I don’t remember exactly, something around 400 UAH). It takes about 2 months in time (the queue for an interview at the visa center + visa processing), but in general this is a more correct way.

The first thing you need to understand is that john.chernobay's mother is going to work in Poland already with a work visa, or she is traveling with her husband / not her husband, maybe only he / not her husband will work, because the child is small
