But on the other hand, the southeast of the island (we lived in Cala Pi), the north of the island is a fairy tale, the water is amazing (color), you can find not crowded beaches with landscapes like in the Caribbean! But Tenerife was not particularly impressed - the scorched brown earth, except for the pines and what people planted, nothing grows. True, the hotel base is better, and for kids (and not only) there are amazing zoos (Las Aguilas, Loro Park, etc.), and the ocean, of course.
