About tours in the Benelux
I am going to visit the Benelux countries for the May holidays in 2012. In the travel agency "Inkomartur93" she stopped on the tour "Pearls of the Benelux" ("Pearls of the Benelux and Germany", "Benelux and Germany - the heart of Europe"), in "Fairy" - on "Europe in miniature". The programs are very interesting. I would love to know the opinion of people who have been on these tours. Of particular interest are guides, the content of excursions, in general, everything that can affect the choice of a tour. Thanks in advance!

The pearls of Benelux and Germany is the Artex tour.
Are you talking about this tour or another?

Yes, it seems to be a joint tour with Incomarthur, I chose it from the catalog and on the website of Incomarthur. Artex and Incomarthur have many joint tours. So what is specific about this tour?

For this tour.
The tour is good - not galloping, there were no very long journeys. The organization is good, everything is decorous, calm, without fireworks of emotions, like the Fairy :-) (I was in other 3 tours of the Fairy)
Accompanying - Seryozha Stupnikov, in terms of organization - excellent.
The local guides are ok but not memorable. After 2 years, I could only remember my grandfather in Luxembourg, and then, only because he was the only one from all the guides, well, he really wanted us to answer to the "correct" souvenir shop (it's clear why :-))
Or maybe the level of guides seemed like this to me, because I myself always prepare for a trip and don’t listen to guides especially :-)
By the way, this joint tour, I think, is only for the recruitment of tourists, because. many TOs have united now ...
Hotels are good, but not in the city, but in the suburbs ...
If you have more specific questions - write what I know - I'll tell

Thanks for the answer. Especially for the feedback about the work of the guide. Is he just a good organizer or a qualified guide (narrator)? I am planning a trip to the Benelux for the May holidays, and according to the Incomartour catalog, the Pearls of the Benelux tour is scheduled for May. I was upset that it does not include a sightseeing tour of Berlin, which I have not been to and really want to visit. What time were you? Have you been to the miniature park "Mini Europe" in Brussels? Which of the optional excursions is desirable to visit, and without which you can do without? I am also looking for an alternative to this tour, in addition to the "Feeria", in the Lviv "Accord-tour", but there through Poland without Berlin. In general, I choose the most acceptable option for myself.

according to the guide - Seryozha is a good organizer, but the narrator .. well .. not bad :-) tastes ..
I was also in May. we arrived in Berlin somewhere for dinner ... a mini-review ..
Mini Europe was offered in my free time, but I didn’t go
By the way, I revised the tour program - a lot of changes ... added something, removed something ...
By extras:
- night tour in Amsterdam. Worth it if in Amster for the first time. And if you are already familiar with the city, then it’s better to do it yourself ...
- Zaanse Schans, my opinion is not worth it! Better spend this time in Amster
- Volendam - MANDATORY! And don't miss the chance to eat herring and buy eel! :-) yummy! I was recently there with Fairy - savored up to Paris inclusive :-)!
- Big Holland - yes, it's worth it !!!
Those special stages that are offered on the museum day - I did not have. But as for me, Van Gogh is more expensive :-)
Bruges and Ghent - stand! Very cute and unique
in Tournai, etc. We didn't have that kind of...
By the way! If you are going to the May holidays - Keukenhof will work!
This is 40 hectares of tulips and other amazing vegetation. M.b. Your group will be taken there as well..
But about the Accord - I won’t say anything, I didn’t go with them - night crossings are no longer mine :-)
If you have any other questions - write :-)

Thanks a lot for the informative answer! For now, this information is sufficient. If I have more questions later, I'll post. If necessary, I am ready to share my impressions about trips with "Incomartur", "Feerie" and "Saga" in Scandinavia, the Balkans, the Alps, the Pyrenees.

not at all :-)
And what tours of these MOTs did you go to?

With "Inkomartur": "Balkan Blues" - 2007,
"Pyrenean Romance" - 2009 (guide Katya Kuznetsova), "Alpine Serenade" - 2011 (guide Pavel Nepokryty), "Nordkapp - Magic of the North" - 2010 ("Feeria", guide Sasha Romanenko), "Adriatic necklace" - 2011 ("Saga", but actually "Centre", guide Irina Sologub) plus a couple of tours in Western Ukraine of these tour operators plus with "Aerotravel" through Europe through Finland.
