Do I need to share luggage for everyone?
The question arose because when we flew from Samara to Turkey, everything was in one suitcase for two. And from Moscow to Italy they were forced to transfer it into two containers. But it was a regular, not a charter flight.
Now the daughter flies from Moscow to Turkey. and we don't know how to share.
The question is fundamental, because there is a lot of glass in the suitcase (baby food). You can't put it in bags.

the air carrier will give you more accurate information.
call and ask
Also, you didn't specify which airline you are flying with.
if Aeroflot - then 20 kg one suitcase

even if the carrier is different, it’s better not to risk it and spend money on 2 small suitcases

My husband and I have one bag (very large) for two. When returning from Heraklion, the weight was 22.6 kg (9 kg there) (i.e. 2.6 extra). The bag was wrapped in cling film and tape on top. They asked to remove 2.6 kg. But we managed to politely persuade the staff to send it to the luggage as is. All the same, a bag for two, already sealed. Exceeding the norm of about 10% (not so big).
If a similar situation arises, I recommend diplomatically resolving the problem.

I agree with egin83, better take 2 suitcases, and you yourself will be calmer.

Just recently arrived from Turkey. It only needs a total weight of no more than 20 kg. per person. We were 2 adults + 1 child. and suitcases were taken out with a total weight of 48.5 kg in one. in another 12.5 kg. We passed it quietly.
