We often go to the Carpathians in summer. There are also less and less clean places. But certainly better than the Crimea. Of course, a holiday is completely different from a holiday at sea, but there are many useful and pleasant factors :) The cleanest air, good hotels, friendly people, good food at affordable prices, beautiful nature. It should be borne in mind that in the middle of summer it can be quite hot - in the absence of reservoirs for swimming, it may not be very comfortable.

Yes, we also try to go to the Crimea not with a foot! But this is purely from my unsuccessful experience, but this does not mean that there are no good beaches and beautiful places in Crimea. Shatsky lakes are located in the Volyn region near the border with Belarus and include six large lakes and many small ones. The largest is Svityaz. For 8-10 years, we rested there twice at the Shatsky Lakes base. The nature and the lake are very beautiful, and the size of the lake is very impressive. In 2011, we already booked a private cottage on the Internet, and when we arrived in Svityaz, we were disappointed with the rest. In recent years, a lot of private hotels and houses have been set up. There are even very decent prices for the Crimea. It is impossible to get to the lake. A lot of trash. The infrastructure in the village is weak - a few "gendeleks". Prices for all Crimean. No more desire to go there.
Children (adults) rested with a tent for 5 days at Pesochny. Fishing, mushrooms, berries. They really liked it. I concluded that if you want beautiful nature (and there is enough of it on the Shatsk Lakes), you need to go to a place where a person has not yet spoiled it with "civilization".
