This is of course my subjective opinion, but Pamukkale and the quality of excursions is getting worse. A unique corner of nature is not designed for crowds of people, tourist infrastructure, etc. Therefore, hurry to see.
The first time was in Pamukalla in 2010. It seems to me that there was much more water than last year.
Plus, the tour itself was much better organized - we were first taken to the Pamukalle hotel, where we swam in hot mud springs and pools, and then there was a buffet at the hotel and then Pamukalle. Last year, they simply brought it, dropped it off on a mountain, and in the end fed it in some kind of handelek (sorry, I don’t have literary words for that catering point). Therefore, if there is an opportunity to take an excursion with a stop at the Pamukalle hotel, I would recommend taking it.
When you go on an excursion, ask the guide to bring you to the top of the mountain and pick you up at the bottom. So you can swim in the Cleopatra pool (mandatory!) And then go down, and not go up the mountain.
