The base currency of the Visa system is the dollar, therefore, if the card is in dollars, then the dollar will be converted immediately into Swedish krona, if the currency is euro, then when calculating in kroons, the conversion will go first from euro to dollar, then to kroon. I disagree about museums :) The Vasa Museum is a must! We don't have anything like that. The Nobel Museum is also worth a visit.
I doubt about Skansen... It's not a museum, it's an ethnic park, it's cool there in the summer, now the weather can let us down.
I didn’t ride the Ferris wheel, but I can recommend the viewing platform on the TV tower!
