Yes, it makes sense! You can get three in one - relaxation in the thermal pools and wellness center, sports in the swimming pool, refreshment in the cryocenter and fitness, entertainment in bars and all this right under the High Tatras. Sorry, the pools are not thermal, this is a publicity stunt. We fell for it too. The water park in Poprad was built on the basis of an ordinary "Soviet" 50-meter pool and a heated paddling pool. If you get there, you will see everything with your own eyes. Frozen icy ... like thermal pools (along with someone's swimming trunks crashed into the ice). I was in Tatralandia, Besenov, Liptovsky Jan - there are thermal ones ... and the Poprad Aquapark is the worst I have seen from water parks in Slovakia. But if the choice is between a hut and a water park, then I would still choose a water park.

About AquaCity: I recently came from there. If you buy a full package for the full price, it is very interesting. In winter, the full package includes: a 50-meter swimming pool and next to it 2 Turkish baths, a small children's pool, 3 outdoor thermal pools (entrance from a warm room). One of the pools is hot, the water is about 38 degrees, the second pool is cooler, the third is barely warm, rarely anyone comes into it in winter. Further. 2 water slides, one of them is dark, inside the lights are on. Further. 2 thermal pools indoors, in the middle of one of them there is a bar counter, they sell drinks, bar stools around it are in the water. Drinks are charged separately. Further. Bath complex.
