I agree with safsaf. I lived in Hammamet just in 3 *, but the sea was practically under the windows, it was very quiet and no roads needed to be crossed. In principle, there were 4 * and 5 * of the same owners nearby, the territory was all common, there were many pools, incl. children's playgrounds. Perfect for a holiday with a child. In early May, the sea is really cold. We were last year at the end of May and beginning of June at the Fourati 3 * Hammamet hotel. I really liked it, despite the star rating of the hotel. The hotel is on the 1st coastline, the beach is very clean and gentle. For children just right. And I did not like the new part of Hammamet - Yasmine, for relaxation. Hotels across the road and very noisy. It's good to walk there.
