Help with choosing a hotel!
Dear forum users, help in choosing a hotel. Our friends (a family of two adults and children aged 4 and 9) are going to Tunisia this summer. It will be the first time in the country. You need a hotel with good food and entertainment for children. Rest 8-10 days, budget 120 thousand rubles. Thanks for the feedback!

For some reason, the question came to me by mail from the tour operator, although we had a rest 6 years ago and without children.
According to our feelings, it is better not to go to this country with children because of unimportant feeding. I do not think that a hotel with a decent kitchen will fit in the budget of the indicated trip.

I rested in 2014 in Hammamet, Hammamet Gardens hotel
Everything was for children (pool, slides, food, club, animation)
True, everything is in French, mixed with English and a few words in Russian. But everyone understood everything!
How is it now after the attacks - I don’t know

I always sincerely wonder what they mean when they talk about the widespread (!) Poor feeding in hotels in Tunisia. In any more or less decent hotel in any resort, the food will be varied and of high quality. Meat, fish, poultry - daily. Seafood - periodically, in the "five" as well as daily. Always a great selection of pasta. vegetables and side dishes. Pastries and sweets with desserts are always and everywhere delicious. For children, you can always pick up mild, healthy food - there are cereals, and muesli, and various natural yoghurts, and soups. and fruits. What do tourists feed their children at home? if you think that the above for a week is not enough? If you want a super-level with a super-cuisine, then choose a super-hotel, everything is simple. None of the tourists have died of hunger in the hotel, so something, even in the most ordinary. Children's animation, playgrounds are available in almost all hotels. You can choose a hotel with a water park, there are such in any resort. In Mahdia, the best beaches and calm, in Sousse - vanity, in Hammamet - a large park Carthage Land

We had just great food at a hotel in Tunisia!
But everything else turned away from this country once and for all.
Mahdia has disgusting beaches! The only country where I sat for 10 days in the pool instead of the sea!

I was in the Carribian world network in Monastir with my daughter, 8 years old. The animation there was super, the child was delighted, he definitely needs to return to this hotel again. The cuisine is very diverse, I don't eat that much :)
you could always choose meat, fish, and poultry ... a lot of vegetables, fruits, sweets, just a huge selection! The hotel has a huge territory, funny animators, both children and adults, they love children very much, they speak Russian! We have only the most positive impressions. I would gladly go there again.
On excursions: 1. went on a pirate ship - nothing special, but you can for a change :)
2. camel rental with a visit to the Berbers - nothing like an excursion, ride, taste the local cuisine, take pictures, feed the ostriches.
3. sugar for 2 days! it was super, russian speaking guide, interesting stories, caravan to the desert, paragliding over the desert during sunset, carpet factory, hotel with a thermal spring, jeeping along the Paris-Dakar route and many other interesting things.

Three years ago, in the month of June, we rested in the city of Sousse, the Orient Palace 4 * hotel, we liked everything very much. The food is excellent, a wide variety of meat, fish dishes, pastries, fruits, vegetables (we had enough breakfast and dinner). Spacious rooms, good service, animators entertain children from the very morning. The beach is clean and constantly cleaned. I really liked it. Recommend.

I stayed at el mouradi club selima. It's three stars. Before that, I was in the five-fours of Turkey and Egypt. I can say that it was a great hotel on the 1(!!!) coastline with excellent cuisine and a large territory. The rooms and interiors were simple - three stars!) But the beach, the sea, Tunisia were beautiful!) I went to a neighboring hotel for spa treatments, I don’t remember the name, but I also really liked everything there.

May 9 arrived from Tunisia - Sousse. Hotel Thalassa Sousse4, good food did not differ from 5k in Turkey and Egypt, and alcohol (wine) is generally just wonderful. Not in one country such wines were not served.
аватар Pachok
Not in one Turkey and not in one Egypt? Or in what other countries did not serve wines better than in Tunisia?
аватар toxic
Tunisia can only be compared with Egypt or Turkey, since only in these countries I was on Oll, in Greece the wines are not worse, just like in Spain, but in these countries wines for dinner were paid or we just bought them.
