We bought a ticket, but reading the reviews about the hotel, nightmares begin to dream))).
Is it really the dirt in the rooms, gray towels, on the beach (again dirty) - the local population with obscene offers, in the "dining room" the food is bad. And I so beautifully described everything to my daughter, how great it will be for us to relax!

You should read reviews not AFTER buying a tour, but BEFORE.
Generally speaking, in African countries it is not customary to relax in "triples", and if you have gathered, tune in to the worst, so that upon arrival you will not be horrified, but look for something positive. For example: they got poisoned in the dining room, but they are still alive, or: every day the swearing Arabs molested, but they didn’t rape ...
Have a nice rest!

Tunisia is a Muslim country. and until August 19th Ramadan. an obscene offer can be rejected. if not, the statement that I am a Satanist has always helped me, the Arabs are blown away like the wind. or threats to call the police.
about the food, again, the taste and color of the felt-tip pens are different. someone needs 2 kg of meat a day, and someone can eat fruits and vegetables for a week and at the same time improve the body.
and the dirt on the beach = thanks to compatriots and other tourists. purely not where they clean it, but where they don’t litter ...
I have friends resting in Mahdia in Tapsus. also 3*. According to reviews, they were more satisfied than other friends who rested in 5 *.

sleep peacefully and don't be nervous. I was with my daughter in June. in the monastery the dolphin el habib hotel. the attitude to and towards the hotel is normal. I completely agree with sandra-art.

nothing to worry about!! ride easy!! this is all complete nonsense ........ CHECKED) even in hotels 3 * and smaller and cleanliness and order, and the restaurants are normal !! and who writes such comments "dirt and gray towels" means these people either were not there, or were "" not there "")) !!!

Thank you all very much! I'm actually an optimist in life, a lot of what is written in the reviews is certainly not the worst thing in life. I'll come, I'll assess the situation on the spot!))) Does anyone know if there is free Wi-Fi somewhere in Sousse?
аватар dmalahova
in any cafe on the embankment WI FI for free!! the hotel is very expensive. 8-10 dinars per hour!! and in the cafe for free, for one thing you can breathe some air and take a walk along the embankment))) Do not worry, everything is there)))

I did not experience any particular discomfort. as for the annoying locals, then, take my word for it, in Egypt they are much more annoying. And there is one miracle remedy for harassment: do not speak Russian. Generally. The fact that I speak good English and a little French allowed me to pretend to be European))))

About the hotel. She probably rested in it. I'm not sure, because the hotel was called differently for 2 years. but it fits the description. The food was tolerable, but not to say that it was wonderful. Removed normally. The beach is there - wow .... I can’t describe it with censored words :)))) Personally, I was attracted to the hotel by the fact that it is right in the center and not far from all the party places. I never demand more from a hotel

i read the reviews. and on persistent offers to buy or try this or that, i succumbed and was disappointed. we bought a bag of louis veton leather 60 dinars, it turned out to be leatherette. we tried wonderful tea with pine nuts 3 dinars for a small cup - ordinary tea with the addition of peeled nuts. now at home already We drink the same thing for less money for 2 months. Local alcohol, including tiborine (date tincture) - sucks completely. Coffee - regular grinding. Do not waste time and money. Tunisians are mostly kind and honest people. the first day I miscalculated in dinars and handed over to the seller in the shop a lot more than I should have.

dates ripen in September, so we didn’t manage to try fresh ones. And last year’s ones are the same as in Russia. Olive oil is mainly on labels with Russian translation. I didn’t take this. I didn’t find any sophistication. I read about Tunisia chocolate, they say try it, there’s nothing better in life, ordinary chocolate, nothing more. The same goes for tea and coffee.

I was with my mother and my brother there, we liked it, the kitchen was not very good, but we ate enough, the Internet in the hotel was free for those who had all inclusive. if it was dirty in the room, as they say, it’s not a problem, leave 5-10 dinars for tea to the cleaners, they will make you clean there, believe me. and smile at everyone, they will treat you better, and how old is your daughter?
