What is the menu for children? If anything, can you buy porridge in stores?
Hello. We are flying to this hotel in May with children 5 years old and 1.3 years old, it is written that the hotel will have a special menu for children, what exactly will be the food for children?

The Turkish children's menu is french fries, sausages, hamburgers. If you want what we call baby food, look at the option in the hotel "diet food".

I won’t say about the hotel - I don’t know ... I’m talking about shops ... Belek is a small town, from chain stores I know for sure there is BIM (but it’s also small) http://goo.gl/maps/5E2nM cereals should be, BUT there only Turkish manufacturers. In order to buy porridge like Nestle or Hipp, you need Migros - it is not in Belek - the nearest to Manavgat or Antalya. So, IMHO, it’s better to take it with you just in case the kids eat certain cereals - children are such a thing :)

While my son was little, I always took with me two packages of my favorite porridge and children's cookies. As well as instant children's tea (Semper).
The children's menu in hotels is really somewhat different from what we are used to)))
In very good hotels, milk porridge, boiled vegetables and mashed potatoes can be added to the above set.
So I advise you to take it with you. Well, you won’t go to Migros Antalya especially for this.

thank you very much))), I still give the mixture at night (I can, of course, not give it. But for immunity, I think it will not be worse on a trip), and in the hotel I will find boiled water?
аватар Trisha75
Of course you will find water.
But there is no guarantee that it will not come from the tap. I take a small (0.5 liter) kettle and buy (or take at the bar) bottles of drinking water.
It's funny, of course, but I'm a coward)))
Yes, and the teapot does not take up much space, sometimes at night you don’t want to leave the room anywhere, but here everything is at hand.

In hotels, water is always bottled - Trisha don't invent it. Hotel management is not your enemy :)))
I can say that they even store bottle caps for 7 days, suddenly, God forbid, a general infection and it will be possible to prove that the water manufacturer is to blame.
As for food, they store samples of all dishes for 4 days, once a week they take them to an SES-type office to detect infections / sticks and all that.
Ask for bottled water at the bar and they will give you as much as you need.

))))))))) well, if I hadn’t seen with my own eyes how in the Marmaris Resort and Spa 5 * hotel two smiling bartenders poured water from the tap into a large bottle of 19 liters (which they had installed at the bar with right side), I would not write about it.
They can store corks for as long as they want. )))
And about the bottles, I wrote: "OR TAKE IN THE BAR", which meant FREE.
I have not been to Green Max, I don’t know how they are with this issue.

So it was necessary to go and complain to the management - since they saw this ... And then it’s not a fact that they then put them to drink ... In Turkey, NOBODY drinks tap water))) and no one even has it in their heads 100% will not come to do this - they are used to being heated at home))) ... I also say it for a reason ... I live in Turkey and have a hotel with my husband))) it’s like that for a minute)))
аватар Trisha75
I'm not used to complaining. Not that character. I just concluded for myself that it is still safer to take in bottles than to pour from a cooler. That's all.
And about "NO ONE DRINKS" - this is probably too strong a word, I do not live in Turkey, but I visit very often, and I have been not only in resort places, but also in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, etc. ., and I assure you - they drink, and this happens in different cities.
But that's not the point, is it? )))
pysy: And what hotel does your husband have, if not a secret? Just to know where exactly there will be no problems with water and food. Thanks in advance for your reply.
