Who controls the sale of air tickets through travel agencies
I wanted to buy air tickets Kharkiv-Dalaman-Kharkiv with a transfer in Istanbul. I asked a woman in the CAM travel agency how much a flight for 1 person would cost and which airline provides this flight. I was kindly advised that for the selected dates there are literally a couple of tickets (although we are talking about tickets for September, but I came to order in July) of the Pegasus airline at a price of $ 438 for 1 round trip ticket. And that the farther, the more expensive the tickets will be. I come home, I get on the Internet, I find the airline's website, I look at the price for these dates and I see the price - $ 249.98. Question: It's interesting what percentage a travel agency takes for selling 1 ticket from an airline???? And isn't the 43% extra charge on a ticket??? And does the Pegasus airline know how much they sell their tickets in the CAM travel agency?

Why do you even buy tickets through a travel agency when you have the Internet and minimal computer literacy? And what about the travel agency? This is the uncleanliness of a particular employee, and the travel agency as a whole has nothing to do with it. And the director controls all processes in the travel agency.

I don’t know how in Ukraine, but in the Russian Federation, the current legislation does not determine the amount of margins for the resale of goods (rendering services). Even the previously established maximum mark-ups for foodstuffs in the "social" list (bread, milk, etc.) have been abolished. FREE MARKET PRICES! And Pegasus airlines generally don’t care who sells their tickets and for what amounts. The main thing - sells! And "in the market, they say, 2 fools - one sells, the other buys!" What is there to talk about, that the antimonopoly service calmly turns a blind eye to such a thing as a fuel surcharge, which was introduced as a temporary measure when fuel prices "dropped". Now what are we paying for?

Simple - go to the Pegasus website and buy a ticket there.
