Fish in a restaurant is more expensive than kebab. Lunch (snack, for one person), consisting of a salad, a fish dish, pita bread, sauce and a bottle of "Efes" will cost from 30 to 35 dollars.

Beer costs 10-11 lira in bars-restaurants. Fish with a side dish and free salad costs 25-30 lire. The total is 35-40 lira. It's not 30-35 dollars. So it turns out dollars 20 maximum. I haven’t been to Oludeniz, but I don’t think that the prices there are somehow different from those in Alanya.

70-80 lira for two per day was enough for us in 2013.
аватар helena_fortuna
Igor_m If I remember correctly, then in 2013 the course was 1 / 2 - 30, 40 $ for 2 people?
About 20 for one?
I assumed so. In Oludeniz, it has always been about 1.5 times more expensive than in Antalya.
anyuta1 - have you decided to book a B&B?

$ 20 for fish in a cafe - it was two years ago. In Kemer, in the center, at the end of June this year. went to the restaurant. I took a frail shish kebab and kebab in one plate (two small sticks), a spitty salad of several tomatoes, pita bread and a bottle of hilt = 27 dollars. Lunch was nothing to look at, not even to be called lunch ...

For quality leather goods, it is better to go to Istanbul. We bought a jacket for our daughter in Fethiye - it took a long time to choose, there are a lot of consumer goods, there are only a few good things. The prices are high.

helena_fortuna, that's right. Traveling around Turkey, we spent the whole day in Oludeniz. We had a light breakfast in a cafe on the beach. Then twice in cafes 150-300 meters from the beach. The prices didn't seem high. In 2012, returning to Bulgaria, in front of Izmir, the boys “forced” us from the road to turn us into a parking lot in front of a restaurant - they washed the car, lunch for two, plus coffee and muffins, plus they collected two bottles of water, sandwiches, and something else in a bag .. They asked for 15 lire for everything! I gave 25, so they loaded a bunch of fruit.

ghbvf the prices that you wrote are the prices of Alanya.
vovkaVladimir is a Kemer price review.
Oludeniz - this resort was chosen by the British.
And the currency there is the English pound.
For first-time visitors, don't be intimidated.
Any currency is accepted everywhere.
But the prices are higher.
In 2013 we were in Fethiye and Antalya.

I have been to Marmaris, Icmeler many times. The last time in 2013 - Icmeler. Prices in cafes were at the level of 15-20 dollars (fish 15-20, kebab 10-15). This year (I was in Kemer) it seemed to me that prices in cafes have risen.

I will not argue with you.
Since this year I will be in Oludeniz, only in August.
And the question of food in cafes will not be acute.
Because hotel NV.
anyuta1 I think among the hundreds of cafes in Olyudeniya, you will find the right one for yourself in terms of price and quality for a child.
Happy travels everyone!

At prices in 2014, the soup is about 5-7 lira. Garnish (pilyav or pasta with cheese) 8-10 lire. A dish with fish cost 20-25 lire. Of course, you can get by with one doner (it costs about 7-10 lira, depending on what) + a drink (2-4 lira on average), but I still prefer more nutritious food to fast food. Dinner (normal, but without frills) will now cost about 40-45 lira per adult (IMHO).
As for the fish. You will definitely visit Fethiye. There is a fish market there. Prices are an order of magnitude lower than in Oludeniz and other places for ready-made fish dishes. So. In the market, you choose any fish (or squid shrimp), and they will cook them for you right there in the restaurant. At the same time, everything is fresh, and the price is much cheaper, and the portions are decent. I still remember balyk-ekmek (in Turkish, balyk - fish, ekmek - bread; in our language, fish in batter)).

Olgaolga153 Olga, Your price targets are very low. 25 lira is less than 10 dollars, in which restaurants in Turkey did you eat fish for this money?
аватар Olgaolga153
vovkaVladimir in Tonoz's Garden and Mimosa. In Hisaryonu and Ovacik, prices were about the same (we talked with vacationers there). There are, of course, expensive restaurants, most of them. For example, in Oludeniz I somehow wanted to treat myself to seafood. We were taken to the Jade restaurant. It was already somehow uncomfortable to get up and leave, but this trip slightly spoiled our mood and significantly depleted our financial reserve.))

Thank you all for the helpful info!!! We will have HB, but still at lunch sometimes, and maybe every day, you will need to have lunch somewhere ...
We don’t need pompous restaurants, cafes - we are ready to dine in very ascetic conditions, but the main thing is that the food is of high quality and not very expensive ... For the last few years, we have traveled mainly in Thailand))) so there will be something to compare with))) and before that they were in Icmeler and Kemer ...
Of course Tai is Tai...)))

We arrived from Oludeniz 5 days ago. Food prices: meat dish (+rice, vegetables, potatoes) 40 lire, fresh 9 lire, plain juice 7 lire, Caesar salad (rich large volume) 35 lire, kebab from 10 lire. Don't believe anyone who says it's cheap and you can eat on every corner! There are many restaurants and cafes, but the combination of price and quality is 2-3 cafes. We have been to many - we liked "9 cloud", the restaurant of the boutique hotel "Mimosa" (tasty, large portions, exquisite serving (both in the afternoon and in the evening), excellent staff). Don’t be fooled by the lagoon, there is a real swamp and the food in that area is just rubbish. The sea is gorgeous (all beaches except the lagoon). If you have any questions, ask, I'll tell you how to eat something that is not written anywhere! Excursions are a separate issue.

In Oludeniz, 1 lira is 25 rubles! (2015)
аватар lazy_person
Kebab for 10 lira is rubbish. A normal portion (3 lamb ribs, on the grill with a complex side dish) - 15-20 dollars.

You are right, I meant doner kebab - this is a type of shawarma (in pita bread or in pita) - street food. And there is a kebab that is served in cafes and restaurants, then what are you talking about, such a dish from 35 lire. In the restaurant at the boutique hotel "Mimosa" kebab is minced meat with spices on a skewer fried on the grill with a complex side dish. They cook amazing vegetables there - very right!
