AllOverTheWorld, there really are reviews, but unfortunately they are not very fresh and uninformative. (IMHO) We have never been in the village of Tekirova itself. The trip is possible only on the specified date. Rest without leaving the hotel is not about us. I have already booked a tour to Armas Kaplan Paradise for relatively little money, but under the terms of the contract I can cancel at any time without loss of funds. We basically don’t want to go to Kemer itself at the end of April, and then return there again at the end of June. We don’t really hope for swimming in the sea at the end of April, so we really want to travel on excursions as much as possible.

Tekirova is a nice quiet place. But for a holiday in April, it’s still better to choose larger settlements (Kemer, Antalya), so that you have somewhere to go, because a beach holiday with swimming in the sea in April is possible only for walruses.

I am interested in information about this particular hotel, because the reviews are absolutely contradictory, someone is very satisfied and ready to return again, and someone, on the contrary, is very dissatisfied and lived in the mud and starved throughout the rest. The season has not started yet, and no one will tell you what the service will be like at the hotel this year, even if everything was great in the past or vice versa. April is the very beginning of the season, it is clear that at this time the infrastructure will not work in full. The animation has not yet unfolded, food is usually cut down (compared to the high season), they can mount something, repaint, etc. This is the case in all hotels. Therefore, the price tag for this period is tempting.

Armas Kaplan is located almost in the center of the village. In the evening, you can walk along Ataturk Boulevard. There are cafes and markets. Nice quiet village. You can visit the reptile eco-park, which is located just in Tekirova, and go closer to Demre than from Kemer or Beldibi. If you do not sit all the time in the hotel, you can normally relax.

You can get to Phaselis, and on your own, it is very close to Tekirova. But I would not go to the cable car with a child. People are stuffed into the funicular cabin like herring in a barrel. Those who entered first try to take places around the perimeter by the windows. Those who are in the center will not see much on the ascent and descent. Nothing special on the top platform either. You walk around the site, looking around. If there is no fog, then they are visible, if there is fog, then it remains to admire the clouds. In addition, it is cool at the upper station even in summer, and even more so in April. The tour itself is expensive. Let them throw tomatoes at me, but I think that the cable car to Tahtali is the most useless excursion in terms of price / quality ratio. For this money, you can go to Demre, and to Phaselis, and visit the eco-park. At worst, go to the dinopark in Goynuk. 7 years - this is the age when you can still look at rubber dolls, if you get older - it will not be interesting.
