a small folding travel iron will solve your problem. Now they make such good ones: with steaming, the handle folds and it turns out flat, the length is 15-20 cm. Excellent thing. I have been using my kenwood for years already .. 5 or maybe more.

And I have been carrying my little "tefal" with me for 8 years in the hope of using it for its intended purpose, and .... alas !!! Only once and stroked! And it could have been easy! :)

Agree. Rarely used at the spa. Only in Greece, when I was almost 3 weeks old, I had to iron freshly washed clothes.
But on tours in Europe without an iron, just nowhere. Firstly, we go in the spring, for a long time, things are completely different, not beachy, and secondly .. somehow you won’t go to the Lido in a crumpled dress or suit, it’s not decent :-) and in Nice, going to a restaurant in jeans is not comme il faut: -)
But if the author needs an iron, then the clothes oblige, or the person suffers from increased accuracy (I myself won’t wear a thing if it needs ironing, just a fad), then it’s better to take the iron with you. He will come in handy.

Yes, of course, if you go to Europe for a long time, you can hardly do without an iron! But if on the "sea" - it is quite possible to do! I guess I need it to calm down. All the time I think: I won’t take it, and I’ll definitely need it! Straight phobia! The experience gained in youth in a trade technical school helps - to fold clothes correctly.

Gee :-)
Well, who studied with whom :-)
аватар PolikSVT
Well, it was in my youth :)) Then there were already 2 "towers", but nowhere else did they give such useful practical skills! Although we studied to be economists, they taught us how to tie ties! Here you have "Ge :-)"
аватар Viltis
Come on, to be a neat person, you don’t have to study at a technical school :-) Trade school .. The usual good home education is quite suitable. And on the other hand, no matter how things are folded, they still need to be ironed, be sure because there will be folds in any case, it’s already a matter of who will turn a blind eye to this and who won’t.
Here is our topicaster seen from the neat people. she needs ironing. By the way, summer things crumple be healthy, the fabrics are all natural, thin.
I understand you are bored again? :-)
аватар PolikSVT
No, thanks for your concern :)) There are 2 more minutes! You can not "close" your eyes to the folds, you can easily get rid of them without an iron! And you can fold such things absolutely without folds. If you think about it. And a carefully ironed linen jacket or trousers - how do you imagine it? Yes, and good modern natural fabrics practically do not crumple. "Ordinary good home education", I suppose knowing such things suggests? And you don't have to be rude. Neatness does not mean washing, ironing. The main thing is not to get dirty :))

Have you tried to pay 2-3 dollars to the laundry?
After all, they saved up money for distant countries?
Switch to alcohol that you are taking with you (after all, these expenses are mandatory for the majority?), And you will feel better, just half a cup of your favorite drink.

Why "attack" of poverty in decent people?
аватар Viltis
Galina50, we went through this 20 years ago. The quality of washing and ironing in hotels is very low. Even in fives. And they even stroked my knitted dress ON THE PRESS! I agree to pay them only so that they do not bother with their "ironing"
аватар Viltis
PolikSVT, I wonder what you took for rudeness? .. Strange.
Clothes should be washed, even if there are no stains on them. Just to freshen it up so it doesn't smell worn. And you need to iron for sanitary purposes.
Well, you are a mother and grandmother, you yourself know all this.
аватар PolikSVT
Viltis, thank you so much for explaining to the unreasonable that _"Clothes need to be washed, even if there are no stains on them. Just to freshen up so that they do not smell worn. And you need to iron for sanitary purposes"__.
It’s a pity that I didn’t know this before :)) Otherwise, I take 5-6 t-shirts, a couple of svrafans, 2-3 tunics, etc., for 9 nights. And the granddaughter has super-enough t-shirts, tops, sundresses to change from 3 times a day, and even then we don’t always have time to put on everything :)) And all this takes up an absolute minimum of space in a suitcase. Following your advice, next time I’ll take a couple of T-shirts and wear them - “refresh! And rest - well, to hell with it! Yes, I wouldn’t forget to pet it, “for sanitary purposes” :)))))))))
аватар Viltis
Well, you'll know :-)
Not at all, contact if anything :-)
