Bar Street is far from all decent hotels. On foot for 15-20 minutes or on a dolmushka ... and back by taxi 15 lire (about 250 rubles).
Romance Hotel 3 * (near the Atlantis Water Park) - a very good option, its own beach, first line, they feed normally for a three-ruble note. Very good staff!
Dora Beach Hotel (a little further along the promenade) - the food was better, completely new, nice. Your own beach.

Do you need it?! That Marmaris?! We had a great rest in "INOVA BEACH HOTEL" 4+*. On the seashore. The beach is great! The food is excellent. The staff is great!!! Every Wednesday in front of the hotel there is a bazaar (cherries (I have not seen such a thing in Crimea) - $ 1, ripe white figs for $ 1.5 (in Yalta figs for $ 15 per kilo !!!)) And, to be honest, not need to invent a bicycle. Young, happy. Just give $ 20 at the reception right away and everything will be OK !. AND SMILE!!! Believe it or not, but a smile breaks all borders in Turkey, believe me.

Bar Street in the very center, there is no beach, only a port. There are hotels in the center, but this is without a beach and not a "first line". Beaches and hotels ("first line") are at a decent distance from the center. This is the area of Marmaris - Setteler. Buses run from many hotels to the street of bars.
