medical examination for hotel staff
who knows, unsubscribe. I am interested in whether the service personnel of hotels in Turkey (cooks, hammam workers, massage therapists) undergo a medical examination before being hired. At least elementary fluorography, RV tests, HIV?

I don’t know what about Turkey, but I worked in Egypt for 2 years and 2 times a year we took tests for HIV (Egyptians too). No one did fluorography :)
аватар Pachok
Yes, HIV is not the worst thing. Indeed, I would like them to be tested for tuberculosis and hepatitis. For syphilis.

Let the bartender beat your cocktail with a (clean?) finger ;)))
аватар abysfinks
I have a question for the author! Do we, in the nearest restaurant, have certificates and medical books official or purchased? By asking the question, did you want to calm down or not?
аватар Pachok
Bought or not - this is the second question, it depends on the owner. For example, at one of my jobs we were all driven once a year for a medical examination with all the tests and examinations, even though we did not work in the service sector.
About the very principle that they (certificates) should be, I think, in countries such as Turkey, would play a positive role. I don’t think that everything in medicine is as corrupt as it is with us :))
papa74, It's not just about the cocktail. Here is a sick janitor sneezing on a pillowcase...
аватар papa74
Very often bartenders like to pick their nose ;)))
Staphylococcal noses in Egypt have not been canceled.
Well, I’m silent that 99% of bartenders touch the causal place (as in Michael’s dances), and then they again beat cocktails;)))))
аватар papa74
Gloves are worn by 5-10% of the kitchen staff, and even then ... by making all the same movements that I described above.
You can’t even talk about cleaners at all, what they can do ... and not only with a pillowcase ;)))
I can instill fear...
Here we are talking about the minimum sanitary epidemiological enlightenment and examination of personnel ...
аватар Pachok
AY!!! Why are you posting all of this now?
аватар papa74
Yes, it's that simple... ;)
Not everything depends on the tests, even officially handed over.

that's why I don't eat at the hotel and don't drink at the bar =) in Turkey there are a lot of private small restaurants, very neat and clean, and even after eating them there is no diarrhea. and after the hotel room - there is always.
аватар Anetka-gan
In general, in Turkey, a very expensive medical examination. And not everyone there has insurance =)
аватар Pachok
Yes, I never had diarrhea in the hotel either. But I never swim in the pool, I think that's the point.
So in private restaurants, all the more no information ... :(
аватар abysfinks
Guys. It's not about diarrhea or lack of it, and it's not about the bartender's fingers in your glass. The question here is about your safety. Where is safer: in our south (solid drisch), in Turkey (this process is selective - a lot of vodka (everything is OK), a little - relaxed). Thailand, India....? Here in Europe (Germany, France, Italy) everything is buzzing there! But not everyone can afford Europe! Here are the questions. The answer is this: the salvation of drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves. This is not a call, just a fact: I have been buying fruits in Turkey for 2 years now and do not wash them before eating. Washed before. Relaxed. Where is technical water from? From the nearest stream! Draw your own conclusions!
аватар Pachok
Why technical? We take a bottle from the minibar and wash the bottled one. Or we boil the usual one in a kettle in advance for the same purposes (though not everywhere there are kettles).
Crimea - generally Achtung! It was very rare to eat in public catering and not get poisoned. At the same time, in Thailand, wherever they ate! and even fruits were washed with ordinary tap water - everything is fine.

Be afraid of wolves, do not go into the forest. In the 90s, all tourists visiting China were required to provide a certificate of the absence of AIDS, I don’t know how the Chinese avoided this infection, but we personally gave blood for this analysis and presented it to the customs officer. Let's return to Turkey, annually visit its native second ten, were in hotels of different cities and categories (star rating from 3 * to 5 *). In Istanbul, as a rule, only breakfasts, on a beach holiday, all inclusive. At the same time, fortunately, they never suffered from diarrhea (although I always have pills in stock). The point here is your personal hygiene - wash your hands before eating!!! When choosing a hotel, read the reviews to see if there were mass poisonings. And most importantly, do not try to conduct experiments on your own stomach, it is hardly worth putting overseas yavatsva on a plate if you do not suspect what they consist of and what they are seasoned with.
Be careful with fruits (the main thing here is that they are not washed with any water, which is also not unimportant - you can also rinse it with boiled water for reliability, and what they are combined with, for example, drinking mango is excluded!) In short, everything is in your hands. Do not bother about recruiting, they are Turks, Arabs, Europeans, Asians are the same people as we are Russians
аватар Anetka-gan
Pachok private restaurants are mostly family-type, local families go there. they keep order there more. for their own. I personally feel more comfortable there both mentally and physically.
аватар papa74
"" when eating mango, drinking is excluded "" - tried. All OK! + champagne, cognac, vodka ;))...
Maybe, of course, daddy stood up for rara74;) because. abused precisely these vrukta in combination with the above drinks.
There was nothing...
аватар Pachok
"It's about your personal hygiene - wash your hands before eating!!!"
This is especially helpful if a staph-infected cook sneezes on your food.
Mango goes great with alcohol! And preferably more (mango):)!!!
аватар abysfinks
Mango with alcohol normally passes both in Russia and outside it. It's all about the cuisine (and the health of the chefs, and the preparation of the products...) and the quality of the products. I have already written several times how I got poisoned in one hotel of the WOW network. For another 10 days in Moscow they sat on breadcrumbs, water and pills. And this is with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the medical service! Not in your, by and large, the matter. You need to choose the right hotels!
аватар abysfinks
Cool Mistake: Correct
аватар bileg
I am glad for everyone who drinks mango with sirt, my health does not allow it! But at the same time, returning to the original question, about the passage of PMO by hotel employees, we do not specifically answer it, but only give advice. I would like to believe that medical examinations are also taking place in countries. But don't worry about it for your own peace of mind. We have tuberculosis and there is a possibility of catching it on the bus! Read hotel reviews before taking a tour. Millions of people travel and are satisfied. If it is so bad in Turkey, then what about India, Thailand, the hinterland of China, and our former Asian republics?
аватар Furiya5
PMO is not PMS!!!
аватар Pachok
bileg, the question was "pass or not a medical examination." All. How to choose hotels, where to travel and about tuberculosis at home, everyone has long known.
