You have to go without even thinking. It's hard physically, it costs 65 USD, but there are a lot of impressions. It's more expensive for 2 days, but less expensive in terms of load. We went for one day. How the tour went, you will find out for yourself, otherwise it will not be interesting

traveled August 4th. the price is already 70 USD (taken from the tour operator TEZ-TOUR). on the road, the guide is very persistent, I repeat - VERY persistently will recommend buying a ticket to Cleopatra's baths (this is a state institution, which is very rare for Turkey and costs 18 USD). And since 20-25 minutes will be enough for you to inspect Pamukkale (believe me, you can’t stand more than 40-degree heat on the top of the mountain), then there is essentially nowhere to go and you have to buy these bathhouses. The tour takes 3 hours. 3 hours in the sun!!! Plus the road there - from Alanya - 400 km through the mountains and shops. By the way, the mandatory program includes a visit to the textile center in the city of Denizle (next to Pamukkale) and a wine cellar with sweets. For each - 1 hour. But for lunch - 30 minutes! But when the heat is in full swing - at one o'clock in the afternoon, that's when they lead to Pamukkale! Honestly, if it were not for the beauty of the road in the mountains there, I would regret it!
And so, there is nothing to look at, there is little water left, these beautiful white lakes are no longer allowed on travertines !!!! all the postcards that you saw were made in 1996, the guide honestly admits this. True, when you are already going there! Take pity on your time on vacation, money and health!

This year we went on a 2-day trip from Side-Pamukkale and Ephesus. Ephesus is amazing!!! I resisted for so many years, this year I went and did not regret it. Yes, it's hot, far away, but impressive. first we drove to Ephesus, we were there for a day, we also visited Mary's house (it's 6 km up the serpentine -beauty) Then we returned to Pamukkale, spent the night in a hotel, it has pools with mineral water. Have enjoyed them. Early in the morning (from 8 o'clock) we visited Cleopatra's baths. It was still not hot and the people began to drive up to 10-11 o'clock. but after the evening pools, somehow I didn’t want to go into this Cleopatra’s bath. True, there is a sleeve from the bath _ there is a depth of 5 meters And gas bubbles jump from the water 10-15 cm up. few people swim there, but those who were were impressed. We even traveled with small children with us, but looking at them, I would not advise. It was a pity for the children. Still, for children 3-4 years old, it’s hard. From Side 2-day 130$. 6 times food. We went - guide Mahmud. He spoke well. We went from NEVA.
Didn't regret

Go for a 2-day trip - DEFINITELY!!!! I was last year for a 2-day trip, also $ 130. Same excursions, same shops, Attention - do not buy onyx products in the store at the factory, there prices are not Cry!!! At home, you can buy all these products 5 times cheaper. And Cleopatra's bath is just a fairy tale. And the "comrade" who did not appreciate this miracle of nature is, to put it mildly, narrow-minded .... it's a pity that you can't write another word ... Go and don't hesitate! Good luck!

Definitely go, you won’t regret it, and of course it’s better for a couple of days it’s easier.

To be honest, I was disappointed in Pamukkale. We went from Pegasus. If it weren’t for the time spent on arrivals at all the stores, the time tour would be 2 times faster! We left at 4:30 and returned at 23:00. We stopped for breakfast at about 7 in the morning, then at about 12 we were brought to the carpet factory, they showed it there for an hour or 2, then lunch, we arrived at the place by 2, at first they dragged us to watch the ancient theater (it’s beautiful, you can’t argue with that, but not at 40 degrees to crawl up!) sat there for about 15 minutes and into the Cleopatra's pool (you need to pay extra about 20 bucks). And there for an hour and a half. it turned out that this is a pond with bubbles, where they threw a lot of columns and moss floats + the water was also hot, about 35 degrees.
then we went to the salt terraces (travertines) and ended up there for only 15 minutes (you can only walk around and that’s it, there is a special place there, but they don’t let you into others, they follow it) and back to the bus, then we were taken to a store where they sell onyx, then just to the store where they sell clothes, olive oil and towels. Next for dinner and a liquor store. Here we tasted wines, most of all we liked pomegranate and grape wines (they also let us try blackberry and cherry), on the bus and in hotels. That's the whole tour

Went from Belek this year, cost $60 per person (supplement for swimming pool on the spot). On one day

I was in Pamukkale in October 2005, I traveled from Belek, the road was easily transferred, it was no longer hot, but what I saw was amazing, the beauty is incredible, you won’t regret it, and go into Cleopatra’s bath, the feeling that you are in the pool with champagne. And as for the shops and the factory they will take you to, I agree, everything is much more expensive there, because the guide is on a percentage, buy everything you want in the markets near the hotel - and the choice is not in a hurry, and you can bargain. Have a good rest and impressions.

drive! better for 2 days and with Ephesus in the program
аватар Zlata28
If you are going to Turkey for 10-14 days, then it is better to take a two-day excursion to Pamukkale, the road takes a lot of time.
аватар emerald.70
The tour is undoubtedly interesting, but very exhausting. All guides offer a 2 day trip, but everyone with whom we went on a 2 day trip cursed everything in the world! The little children were exhausted, the grown-ups tired of the constant stops at all sorts of commodity shops. Only excursion, only mini shopping!
My advice is to go for one day! It is better to be exhausted immediately than to stretch the torment of the road for 2 days!

I recommend going from local travel agents, their prices are 2 times cheaper than in Pegasus or Teztura, and the service is the same (you still travel on the same bus). If you have a vacation of 2 weeks, then it is better to take a two-day excursion, of course, there are many impressions and it is not so tiring in the heat. Because from seven days of vacation, a two-day excursion will take not only the desired days, but also strength. Have a nice rest!

I didn’t go personally, but I talked to people who went, and they said that it’s not worth it. Where there are snow-white beauties, tourists are not allowed, and where they are allowed, it is full of all kinds of mold ...

I went for 2 days and did not regret it. Because, firstly, Ephesus is very worth seeing. An amazing sight. And secondly, Pamukkale on the second day early in the morning, while there is no heat - this is also a huge plus. The only thing that really loads is the permanent shops .. that they just didn’t try to sell us - and gold, and fur coats, and carpets, and wine, and abibas made in China ...

I have been to Pamukkale twice. Super. Although the conditions are different. In 2007 the prices from Berfintoor were: $60 adults, $30 children with lunch and dinner. But without drinking. It was from Avsalar, they bought from Nazar (we've known each other for 4 years). Departure at 05.00, returned at 00.15. The price included access to the Cleopatra pool. Textiles and onyx - always.

only for one day!!!! terrible accommodation with an odeon in a 5 star hotel ... maximum one ..... disgusting experience

The tour is interesting. They are allowed on travertines, but only on artificial ones. IMHO, they are the same. Awesome display of carpets, although I'm not interested in them. They let you walk barefoot on expensive carpets. They show the technology of taking a thread from a silkworm. Wine tasting is also impressive - wine is poured not on the bottom of a plastic cup, but 2/3 of a glass. I didn't like Cleopatra's puddle at all. The bottom is strewn with protruding stones, it is inconvenient to swim, to go too. You have to crawl in places. And all this for $18! Brr. Don't forget your cameras and sunscreen.
аватар VovaS
Definitely go!!!
It is very beautiful, and no shopping and buses will spoil the impression! If the tour is for two weeks, then you need to go on a two-day excursion, if the tour is 7 days, then it is better to go on a one-day tour.

If you go with children, then for 2 days, if without children, then for 1 day. For 2 days they stretch the same program + overnight stay. 1 day is better for me. The tour costs about 65 USD, Cleopatra's Pool for a fee of about 20 USD.

Go without hesitation. Was on a day trip - it's better. Just in no case do not give in to a persistent guide who will persuade you to buy a ticket for 18 bucks to Cleopatra's pool. Firstly - a paddling pool with a crowd of people. Secondly, on travertines (white mountains) you can perfectly swim for free. Although the guide will say that you will be fined. It is not true. When we were crowds of tourists dipped and splashed on the travertines and no one paid attention to it. Instead of a pool, it’s better to swim on these travertines for about 30 minutes, then go to the museum - it costs 2 lira. You can take pictures there (for free). The museum is awesome. And then visit Hieropolis - an indelible sight. For us, the tour went like a blink of an eye. But those who were in the pool, they didn’t look at anything except him, and then they spat that they had only given their money in vain

Traveled on 07/11/08. for 2 days for $ 90 per person (for 1 day it cost $ 70. The excursion is easier to carry than a one-day one, because Pamukalle itself is at 8-9 in the morning the next day, and with one-day excursions, in the afternoon in the heat. You choose!!!!!!

We went. I didn’t like it ... There is definitely something to look at, but it’s hard, the road is endless, these shops, everything is fed up already in the first half of the day. Cleopatra's bath is like a dirty puddle with moss (right next to tourists they collect this muck with a net) and even a sleeve with a 5-meter depth is not impressive. I liked theater the most. In short, got on the bus - be patient ... But do you need it? On a long-awaited vacation? And last year we had a great rest on the yacht in Kemer, this year it was a nightmare in Alanya, we started with the fact that the bus was an hour late! Then they loaded THREE buses onto one yacht!!! And we drove the tour at such a pace, making up for this hour, just awful! There was nowhere to even sit. On the way back, they drove so that one tourist fell and was injured, ten people wrote complaints. Advice - do not immediately sign up for excursions, so as not to regret it later, look around first if you get bored - it's never too late to "have fun" so dubiously.

I really enjoyed this tour. Went with my 7 year old son for a daily tour. We left at 3 am and at 1 am the next day were in place. I got through the road just fine. We slept on the bus, no problem. Road with stops, no big deal.

Pammukale - this year it's not worth going - in travertines (white terraces with mineral water) - no water!!! The meaning of the trip is lost. After a long exhausting trip, coming to a dazzling white mountain that reflects all the sun's rays on you and not being able to freshen up is torture (shared a friend who was there in July). Something happened to the springs that filled these terraces and the Turkish Minister of Tourism seems to be planning to ban excursions to Pammukale.
