Help with choosing a hotel!
Good day! Help please with a choice. My husband and I are going to Turkey on the 12th of June for 12 nights. Can't decide on a resort. The main wishes are the good location of the hotel. Excursions are expensive, we want to make independent trips, in general, so that there is something interesting to see, and the presence of shops and markets is desirable. The food is good so that it was (we take "all inclusive"). We want sand, well, or small pebbles (we got confused with slippers last year in Egypt). The hotel is preferably quiet, in the middle of nature, without daytime animation, preferably without small children and noisy slides. Our budget is up to 80,000 rubles. Suggest something suitable if you can. Thanks in advance. I really want you to like the trip, but they offer everything in a row, even what I don’t ask for or doesn’t fit the price.

What region do you want?

Look at Side. City-museum under the open sky. Ancient ruins, cafes, narrow streets, restaurants, souvenir shops. By minibus 10-15 minutes to Manavgat. There is a textile and food market, economy class shops Wikiki, kotton. Small waterfall on the river. In Side you can take a boat trip from the pier. Check out Barut Cennet&Acanthus 4*. The hotel is small and not noisy. Front page. Your own beach. The beach is sand, the entrance is gentle. Promenade along the beach - walk to Side for about 20 minutes. It's nice to walk at sunset or in the evening. On the other side of Side there are a number of expensive 5 * - excellent food, pine territory - this is the Sorgun forest. But they are all animated and family. Although the quality of service, food and nature is luxary class.

I definitely support Side. City-Museum under the open sky. Manavgat for shopping. Embankment 12 km for walking. Near Blue Canyon.
Hotel Defne Anna - everything is quiet, calm, measured. The hotel is German, quality. Very nice beach.
Tekkirova - all beaches are pebble. But not very large, it didn’t bother us, we walked without slippers. There are many hotels, all are good. Nearby for an independent visit to Phaselis, Tahtali, Olympos, Ecopark, Kemer.
Oludeniz is a very nice and quiet resort. The most beautiful nature. But there will be no tours nearby.
Same with Fethiye...
So choose SAND or SMALL PEBLES. SIDE or TEKKIROVA)))

Trisha75, well, how is it, you killed me on the spot! I name where you can quickly go from Oludeniz (the best beach in Turkey, under the protection of UNESCO) or Fethiye - "Butterfly Valley", Dalyan (Lycian tombs, Koycegiz lake, mud baths), Kaunos, ISTUZU beach, Kinik village (remains of the legendary Xanthos city), Saklikent National Park (Sakl?kent Milli Park), Gelemysh village (the remains of Patara, where Nikolai the Wonderworker was born, a 12 km long beach). You can just climb Mount Babadag, look around. I can go on, but this is enough for a week. Do you agree?

Dear colleagues! Which Defne Anna? Barut Cennet&Acanthus 4*??? Look at the month of departure and the budget of the trip!!!

Oludeniz is very picturesque!!! Look at the Sun City & Beach Club 4* hotel. Sells Pegas. Renovated in 2014. Small very green territory. Good food. -own 1500m. The hotel bus runs 2 times a day. It is also a very beautiful place. Near the hotel there is a street with shops and cafes. There are a lot of Englishmen. a promenade and a lot of entertainment for every taste. If for the first time in Turkey, then of course Tekirova and Kemer are suitable.

There are no and cannot be own beaches in Oludeniz. Sunbeds with umbrellas are paid, there are plenty of places in July and August (when I was there). The beach is 1.5 km long - for everyone, the same thing in the lagoon - swim wherever you want. I already wrote that this beach is for those who cannot walk yet and for those who can no longer. And what a cleanliness!!!!! Marmaris is a good town, compact, cozy. Icmeler is lovely! Sandy beaches, not far from Cleopatra Island, but how the Gulf of Gekova looks from a height! I couldn't drive past - I watched and photographed for about an hour.
myskatov, read my reviews, those who were in the places you were interested in and everything will work out. Yes, in my reviews there is not a single one about hotels with stars, I have not perceived them for a long time.

Last year, I took a chance and went to a city-type hotel, to Antalya itself ... the Adonis Antalya Hotel. Rested for 15 days. The most wonderful vacation. I really liked Antalya, a good hotel. Very clean, deep sea, lift to the beach, entrance to the sea from the platform and immediately deep... Urban hotel. There are many places in Antalya where you can go and see what the old town "Kaleichi" is worth, the fortress, the port ... the "Konyaalti" area with its famous beach...

Igor_m, I understand that the author of the question is not interested in trips in organized groups, but INDEPENDENTLY. I in no way dispute the beauty of Fethiye-Oludeniz (especially Oludeniz), but quickly (on foot or by minibus in 10-20 minutes) there are not many places from there where you can get)))
Therefore, I advised Tekkirova (all the places I have named are within easy walking-bike-shuttle accessibility) or Side.

Thanks everyone! But I still can’t decide, I read the reviews, I look at the photos. I really want to choose a good hotel according to my budget and wishes. Unless it seems to have decided on a resort ... we want it in Side.

Good afternoon! I saw at Teztour Barut Cennet & Acanthus 4 * all inclusive for June - 10 days - 93,000 rubles. About your budget. This is a 4 * with good food, by the sea and very close to Side. I think that 3* can be found even cheaper or 4*, which are not on the first line. I recommend this hotel, because I myself was there and my colleagues from work - everyone has a good impression, and the location is generally excellent - the town is nearby, and the promenade, and the sea and minibuses. If you go on your own, then you need to choose the historical center of Side, but not everyone likes such a vacation, especially in Turkey - it turns out to be more of a European plan - like an urban one: without a pool, but with walks along the narrow streets, ruins, a museum, food in 5 minutes in cafes and restaurants on the shore to the sound of the sea. Coffee overlooking the bay, boat trips from the pier. City beach in a mini bay, or a paid beach at the exit from the city. That is, such a leisurely stay in a resort town. In the current situation, the money is not particularly budgetary. . . I love the town very much and in March, and in December and September I fly there. I live at the Sevil Otel - no stars, with a view of the Temple of Apollo and the sea. Breakfast in the garden-patio, under the grapes, the rooms are clean. Shower, hairdryer.
