in Alanya we spent the last week of August at the very budget Green Fugle Beach. We bought a ticket the day before departure there, so we didn’t really think about whether it was worth going. I agree with the previous speaker. Kemer is prettier in terms of views and landscapes. We rested in the Golden Lotus. Good four practically in the city. But quiet and comfortable, besides on the first line. There are places to walk in the evening. Shops, cafes, city parks are at your disposal. The hotel has an indoor saltwater pool in case of bad weather. A special thrill to drink tea / coffee with cookies on the seashore under the rays of the morning sun.

Because the geography of the coast in Kemer is such that after 16.00 it is already cold on the beach - the sun hides behind the mountains. But in Alanya, where there are no such landscapes as in Kemer - the sun on the beach until sunset, it sets into the sea. And there at this time both water and air will be several degrees warmer. That's why I recommend Alanya.

About storms - it’s completely untrue, powerful storms also happen in Kemer, very often in September the sea began to storm in the afternoon, and the waves were oblique. If we add that there was no sun on the beach, then there was nothing to do at all - it was really cold, windy. Let the author of the request decide on his own why this trip is for him - for a beach holiday or for walking under artificial lighting. Do not impose your favorite region, but accurately describe the conditions at a given time of year on different coasts. The sun until sunset on the beach is Alanya and Side is a fact. Please note that at the end of September the sun sets almost the same as ours - at seven-thirty-six in the evening it will be dark.
