If you have your valid passport, where there is a photo of a child after 5 years old, your child is under 12 years old, you can still “smuggling” a child through visa-free countries with this passport until 2018 (Schengen for such passports, except for Bulgaria and Poland will do). If there is no photo, make a foreign passport for the child.
