Is it worth it to go to Turkey in the summer with a 10 month old baby for June or the end of August?
I promised my eldest daughter to fly to Turkey in the summer with a baby, and the closer to summer I think, is it worth it? How about a flight? How about nutrition? How about acclimatization? I heard that there are hotels with a children's kitchen focused on such little ones. Maybe someone will advise such a hotel, and their impressions of a holiday with children.

With such a little one, I do not recommend traveling during this period. It's hot, under 40. It would be better to choose September, the beginning of October, but the school ... Then you can choose the end of May. Were in Cristal Admiral 5*. Everything is. We had mothers with babies. They responded positively. I saw there steam sterilizers and heaters for baby food, a children's section in a restaurant, a diet table, strollers for rent (better to clarify) ... This is one of the mass of similar hotels.
Good luck with your choice.

And what is this region? Alanya, Bodrum, Marmaris? Were you with the baby too?
аватар abysfinks
It is between Side and Alanya. Belongs to the Side region. True, there is nowhere to go out of the hotel, and it won’t work out very well with a baby, but for the older one (I don’t know the age), it will probably be interesting - there are water slides, normal animation, minigolf, etc. We were there in mid-October, the three of us (wife, me and my daughter 12 years old - do not care about school). There were tourists from Israel, Germany and Russia. The children found a common language right away - 2-3 dozen of them had accumulated.

A woman with a one-year-old child rested with us, spent a month there. Everything suited her. Several young mothers still came for no more than a short time (more precisely, everyone was already leaving with us), both with and without their husbands.

Turkey is always full of mothers with children of all ages, including those with babies. There are many hotels where there are all conditions for their rest.
July-August is indeed a very hot time. The second half of September-the first half of October is the most comfortable time in terms of weather! With May, the situation is this - the sea is not yet quite warm, and the sun is already frying decently - up to 35 degrees, but everything is blooming.
And absolutely right for_luda - You'd better consult a pediatrician first.

They even travel with smaller children, but this trip requires more thorough preparation than for adults.
According to the season, you have already been told that September-October is better, but you can try the end of May-beginning of June. In August, I would not go on my own, let alone with a child.
You need to talk to the pediatrician, only he will tell you if you can fly, and if possible, what you need to take from the medicine and how to behave during acclimatization.
You need to travel for at least 14 days.
If you are eating alone with 2 children, then estimate the weight of the things you need and if you can lift it. Our suitcase floor was occupied by a pot (so if the hotel offers pots, this is a plus). Yes, they give strollers (we didn’t bring our own), but we only needed her to “drive up”, and she looked, well, not quite presentable .
Nutrition - depending on what the child will eat. In good 5 * or HV1 there is always something to choose, but in the description you should rather focus on a diet table, and not on a children's table.
Well, it’s not bad that there is a settlement nearby with a market or a pharmacy to buy juice, mashed potatoes, diapers if necessary - we all bought it, because we took it only for the duration of the flight and the first day.

Hello, we were from August 01 to August 10, 2009, it was very hot +47, we were with a 7-year-old child, although we constantly smeared with sunscreen, we still got a burn on our shoulders (in the form of blisters), and we were also warned about solar allergies .So, think about it.

Thanks to everyone for the opinions, but the facts and events are very interesting, who was where with a small child and how it all went. Pediatricians in such cases say that the parents take all the risks, wherever the child is taken. In general, this is our strip, and acclimatization should go well if you choose the right season. Here in the Crimea, the pediat definitely doesn’t advise .... And we also thought about things (we thought to cook and drive the Chikko steamer-blender, mixtures, cereals, bottles, a first-aid kit from everything) on our own, but the stroller and the pot are in question? and the trip itself too ... I would like to hear the opinions of the experienced people, what and how? how is the health of the kids during the holidays ... It is clear that there are risks, but I did not hear who faced what ....

And where is it not hot at this time?
You can go. Many travel. But it is better to postpone to September. Not so hot, prices are lower, students in schools.
And be sure to have a hotel with a green area, preferably a club one. CRYSTAL ADMIRAL - not like that.

And I have to work in September, my daughter is in grade 5, although the baby will be 1.2 at that time. I would like at least the end of August, we will have a year and a month. Who was with the little ones, respond!

Yes, you are right about the risks, but there are children whom the pediatrician can forbid to go, and there are those who are strongly recommended (there are specific examples).
We went in September with a child 1.10. No problem-pah-pah-pah. We really drank simbiter for reinsurance (we started a little earlier at home, and also finished at home). There was a club hotel in Kemer (parents just like this region, and we agree on the pebbles on the beach), green territory, good food (we didn’t open our cereals, as the food approached us), there was a stroller for hire (no extra charge). Nearby was a village with pharmacies and shops. The hotel is for children (for breakfast at each table there is a highchair, or even two), and in September it looked like a nursery. In the circle with whom they communicated, only a 4-year-old girl had small problems with her ears (this is their 4th vacation and the 1st time of problems).
Of the unpleasant moments is the flight.
And not the flight itself in the air (we slept there, then read, ate and jumped a little over our parents), but the flight delays and the delay at the airport. In general, the road from home to home is 12 hours.
By the way, the child really liked the sea. Now he tells how he will go again. And my husband and I were not at all afraid of such a vacation.

But we did not dare to go abroad and rested from August 24 to September 14 in our Crimean Saky. My son was 10 months old at the time. There is a wonderful modern sanatorium Yurmino, with SPA salons and OWN beach, children's pool. The water in the sea was the cleanest. There were no troubles at all, the child was not sick, we gave him the opportunity to smoothly acclimatize and did not "rinse" in the sea from the first day. Meals 3 times a day "all inclusive", delicious. In general, my husband and I are accustomed to high-level rest and I was pleasantly surprised that we also have friendly staff, a clean beach (cleaned every morning and it is forbidden to smoke), cool rooms, well, in general, for families with children - just super. And the territory is guarded and after 10 it is quiet. They have a website, type it into a search engine, I don’t remember exactly. I propose to consider an alternative to a foreign holiday.
It is also convenient to get there by a direct train Kyiv-Saki, a plane (flight 50 minutes) Kyiv-Simferopol, then a hotel transfer 30 minutes, or by car (we drove like this for 7 hours at night, the moly immediately fell asleep in the car seat and woke up under the gates of the hotel, back for sure also no problem). But everything is his own, and something is a little wrong with the child, he jumped into the plane and at home.

summer months - simply unbearable heat in Turkey
and even a humid climate, i.e. the heat is not well tolerated
I would advise you to go with such a baby either in September or in May
аватар Toha75
Yes, it will be hot for such a crumb, and take into account acclimatization - if you go in July-August, then for at least 2 weeks, otherwise her body will be hard
