There are hotels that are more than 50 km (90-100 or more), respectively, and go there from an hour to ... 2-3 hours with the delivery of tourists to hotels. And here, of course, if there is such an opportunity, you can order an individual transfer (at the exit from the airport, warn the guide that you are not traveling with him, so that he would not look for you, and the tourists who arrived whom he meets did not sit extra time on the bus. Such a transfer will be both more comfortable and many times faster (you will not be brought to the souvenir shop, it is also a snack, it is also a toilet (on average, a stop of 30 minutes or more), and you will be brought straight to your hotel. Guys, thanks, but I was misunderstood, apparently. We are talking about buying a tour from the Ukrainian airport, but not in your city, but related to the regional ones. We flew like this once, and a group transfer from us to the airport of departure was included in the price of the tour. This year we faced a problem: our TO does not provide a transfer to the airport of departure. Is this normal practice? Who faced it? Thank you in advance.

There is such a transfer if it was originally laid down or something has changed, but this is a rare occurrence. We had a trip from Belarus to Turkey when we booked a tour with a departure from Kharkov, and a week before I was informed that the departure was from Kyiv, and I specifically watched the departure from my city, the youngest TK was then about a year old. But our family was made an exception, the tour was postponed until later (a couple of days) and we still flew from Kharkov. There was also a moment of returning not to our airport, but to Kyiv, and from there we were taken by a group transfer to Kharkov. But it was all "so there were circumstances". This is rather an exception to the rule, usually you yourself get to the airport of departure.

Logically, a transfer to the airport should be provided only if the city of departure is changed. In this case, TO corrects its own jambs. In all other cases, the transfer can be considered as a nice bonus. (IMHO)

I am from Zaporozhye. I do not stop at forced transfers to replace the airport, and several times we were taken by transfer to Dnepropetrovsk and Krivoy Rog. Also, tourists from the Dnieper flew with us from Zaporozhye, they were brought by transfers. But we got to Kharkov, because the tickets were bought in Kharkov TA (from Zaporozhye, the hotel I needed was not in the TO packages). This applies to the regions, because often and in the off-season, combined flights fly for several TOs.
