Turkey is a great option. Here I agree with your agent. But the hotel is rubbish. You may be disappointed in Turkey in general because of this hotel. And this is wrong. In short, they told you everything is right about mosquitoes, you can not be afraid of them. And there, how lucky. I'm sure you could find a better hotel for the same price. I have just returned from Cyprus. Great vacation for two over 30s, no kids and no luggage.
With a small child (2.5 years old), I definitely won’t go there - neither to the hotel nor to the apartments. There are few hotels on the first line, and those where there is no road / promenade between the hotel and the beach, in general, the cat cried. Olla is not. Cooking in the apartment and going somewhere to the beach, of course, is possible, but the prices for food are not encouraging - that's putting it mildly! There are no private beaches, there is a courtyard everywhere.
I have not seen your hotel, but I want to say that reviews are better on other resources! For example, 4.3 out of 5 is a very good rating on one of the Russian sites. Yes, and here - you need to read everything carefully: here the lady gives a rating of 6 (out of 10), and the very first phrase "We rested with the whole family, me, my husband and a child of 10 years old) in general, I liked everything, and the hotel and the territory, everything and everywhere purely."

There is an Oll in Cyprus, but it makes no sense to take it there, this is understandable. So I read normal reviews at first and chose this hotel because of the beach and it is not so far from the airport, but then I found information about the coxsackie virus and was most afraid of viruses. We always wash our hands and keep hygiene, we are not going to the pool, but this can not always save. When you cook it yourself, it is already safe, and "all inclusive" - it is not yet known whether you can eat it. Friends assured that there are dishes that are cooked in front of you.

Personally, I don’t need an all, but here’s how I imagine that for some water / fruit / yogurt that a child wants, you have to run somewhere first to buy, and then either drag it all to the beach, or run back to the hotel to bring .. In one of the hotels where we used to rest, right next to the beach there was a refrigerator with ayran, and next to it was my aunt with tortillas and my uncle with ice cream. The kids themselves ran, took what they liked, right in their swimming trunks, and some were naked :)

Well, eating on the beach is unhealthy and in general we never eat on the street. We bought everything in the supermarket in Cyprus, but now the prices are even higher, we were two years ago and only adults. It makes no sense to take All in Cyprus, because they will give pink plastic sausages, etc. It is cheaper and tastier to buy everything you want with this money. We ate a couple of times in a cafe, but I didn’t really like it, we cook tastier ourselves, and the products there are good, especially fruits, cheeses, the beach was very close to us, normal and calm in Cyprus, it’s safe if you rent a car, it’s generally interesting. Cyprus has the best beaches in Protaras. There, most often in 3 * hotels, the beaches are often better than in 5 *. The beaches are not hotel, but municipal, locals come, but somehow there are no such crowds. And there are no drunk tourists.
