Do you want to go in winter or summer?

Holidays on the South Coast with children: either expensive, or troublesome, or both.

This question is asked 3 times every year.... ANYWHERE! Children stress those around them.

There are practically no sandy (children's) beaches on the South Coast. With children usually in Evpatoria.

With small children, it is best to relax in Turkey in the summer! It is not much more expensive (if not cheaper), but MUCH more comfortable and pleasant. We know from our own experience. Think and decide! Good luck!

The South Coast would not categorically advise with children, it is rather a youth zone, discos, parties. Plus the beaches are pebbly. And another important nuance - there is a cold current on the South Coast, which can poison the rest at any time. The water temperature even on the hottest day is +16- +18 degrees. And so for 2 weeks.
Western Crimea - sandy beaches, children's resort Evpatoria, medical Saki. The sea is not deep, for small children what you need. The temperature doesn't drop.
In general, whether to go or not depends on many factors: the desired living conditions, the amount that you can spend, what you want from the rest (for the children to buy and improve their health or lie on the beaches or excursions themselves) ...

Rested in August 2013 in Evpatoria with a child of 5 years. The beach was a hotel, not citywide. BUT: sand is only on the shore and 5 meters from the shore into the sea. We had to go into the sea on stones of different sizes. Moreover, it caused mountain algae - it stinks and it's disgusting to step on. Yes, even up to a bunch of different jellyfish, sometimes the size of a soup bowl - the child refused to go into the water. And the air in Evpatoria, unlike the South Coast, does not smell of pines and cypresses, they simply do not exist here. But what is very, well, VERY much here is children's entertainment and attractions! Bring more money!

There is a sandy beach in Feodosia, but it is small. And the huge coast is all made of pebbles, from the station about 30 minutes walk to (I don’t remember exactly what it’s called) something like a golden beach, on the train one stop before reaching Feodosia. I went with my children 5 and 11 years old, intermediaries walked along the train, offering housing. True, to get to the beach you need to cross the railway, there is something like a hotel (more reminiscent of a hostel) not far away, but the trains run right under the windows. My children liked this beach, we went to the pebble, and then returned to the sand. The sun sets behind the trees at 4 o’clock, then it’s cold and there’s nothing to do on the beach.
