Yes - I would also like to try the real Massandra, wow, what wines! And now we only sell chatter (Koblevo and all sorts of other Georgian 'Mynassali')

Well, we're taking it out slowly. A couple of bottles. While lucky, and on the way back no one delved into things. They are more interested in how many rubles you bring to Ukraine. I think it all depends on the change. Reasons? Yes, what? I want to eat (or drink). You can do as in the old Soviet movie - drink from the throat, if found :))))

Three days ago they calmly transported 4 bottles, but it all depends on the change of border guards, both Russian and Ukrainian

Did you drive your car (Kharkov-Krym-Kharkov)? I would like to hear from eyewitnesses ... how is the border crossing (customs / car inspection), passport control). How long. How difficult is this procedure? Is it worth going?

Thanks to everyone who responded! We decided not to risk it, because it really depends on the change of customs officers (who will take 1 champagne, and who will take nothing). They traveled in their car. There: the Ukrainian border guards did not inspect anything, they quickly passed; the Russians blew all the cars, they shone down, all the glove compartments, they all rattled, all the bags, all the things were everted. Back: the Russians asked to take out all the bags from the car, but they quickly examined it, without shmona, the bags were simply opened in front of them, they didn’t take anything out and that’s it; The Ukrainians opened the trunk, they didn’t take out the bags, they didn’t examine them, they waved their hand and gave the go-ahead. There were 2p less bags at the entrance than at the exit (declaration), but they didn’t find fault with anything. They brought 2 liters of strong alcohol there, everything is ok without problems.

Time may vary. In the summer and on the eve of the holidays, the flow is very large. The last time we went was before Easter, on Saturday morning. We went by bus. We crossed the border in 4 hours. It is too long. At other times, it used to take 1.5-2 hours. A friend went out the previous Friday night. There were sooooo many cars - many left on Friday after work. Stayed for 7 hours or more. And sometimes there is no one at all. Week in the off season.
