Where to stay in Yalta?
We want to visit Yalta in June 2009 with our family. Can you advise where is the best place to stay? Requirements: preferably the center of Yalta, a small mini-hotel, all amenities, entrance to a closed sanatorium beach, proximity to entertainment events and the possibility of excursions. Who will tell you what?

I will not impose my choice on you, but my wife and I somehow went this summer to the Palmira Palace Hotel, we and our children really liked it. Paradise in the Crimea. Go to the hotel's website and see what the hotel has to offer.

Of course, Palmira Palace is not bad, but it is far from the center of Yalta

I would recommend Krasotel-Levant. This is the center of Yalta. It has its own beach. Nice, clean rooms with modern furniture. The price includes breakfast, discounts for children. If you go, you will not regret it !!!

Park-Hotel Marat

The levante does not have its own swimming pool (although it is nearby in the Leto entertainment center), the hotel is practically on the waterfront, closer than it met the sea to the sea))). Marat is Gaspra. You can see the options in Yalta: Seasons, Bristol. but the pool and private beach and rooms for every budget, a lot of restaurants. And the child will like it, there is a dolphinarium and a park area for walking.

Thanks for answers. What is the hotel "Rotonda"? Has anyone been? And "Monsoon" on the territory of the sanatorium? What else do you have?

I celebrated New Year in Yalta! I advise everyone to admire the winter Crimea! It is especially worth admiring the winter Ai-Petri! The Carpathians are resting! We lived in a boarding house. Chekhov. It's 10 minutes from the promenade, you just need to climb a little uphill. The hostel is good, the food is excellent. I liked everything. Got a lot of fun!!!

Hello!
In Yalta, you can relax in the Bristol Hotel (city center, indoor pool, spa, etc.).
The only thing missing is its own beach. The matter is fixable - you can either go to Livadia for a "closed type beach" or to Massanda - "for everyone."
I have a tour operator agreement with them, it's interesting - let's talk via e-mail.
Good luck!
Yuri
P.S. Do not blame me for the definitions in quotation marks! ;-)

And which resorts and hotels have their own "closed" beaches?

Regarding Palmyra - a super place: very beautiful, service, etc. (they were last year, I liked it very much), but this is not the center of Yalta, but Livadia. If the center of Yalta is not important for you, go to Palmyra - you will be satisfied
