We rested in 2011 in Transcarpathia in Polyana (next to Svalyava) - we liked it very much. Beautiful nature, mineral water, a region rich in sights (both architectural and natural)! Have a nice rest :)

I recommend the Ust-Chorna area (Ruska Mokra). There are many interesting options on foot. There are mushrooms, quickly climbing to a height of 1700, you can walk radially, there are several interesting slides and places. Very close to the TrebleRitskaya HPP. The downside is it's a bit far, but there aren't many tourists there yet. Very respectable places.
The Bukovina Carpathians are not very interesting due to the fact that they are not high, densely populated, the sights are very local. There are interesting semi-abandoned villages, such as Burkut, Sarata, Falkov, etc. But you can't get to some of them without the permission of the border guard. I was there on a long hike, visited many villages, cool places, sparsely populated (the ridges of Grinyava, Chivchiny), but there are posts, they checked who we are and what we are. For lovers of nature and hiking, consider the villages of Lazovshchina / Lazeshchina (ascent to Petros) + mushrooms, you can also walk from Kvasy like this (I know the trails, they also picked mushrooms), I like the villages of Lugi (ascent to the Chornogora ridge) - there are also Breboi and Bogdan- it is not far from Rakhiv. There are good natural places and not crowded.
These are not the most popular places (except for Kvass) and there will not be crowds of mushroom pickers! only local)

Unambiguous Transcarpathia! We always combine wellness with interesting travels and a mix of glory! Rested in the dignity. Bruise, and after the procedures and a walk to the waterfall Skakalo, on Sunday (when there are no procedures) went to the Obavsky stone (the panorama is incredible, I advise everyone to see !!!). And a bunch of berries and mushrooms, tours of the castles (even in the evening in complete darkness with torches), tasting of Austrian wines, delicious honey and mead in the Honey House, bathed in thermal pools and "cooked" in vats!
