Stylish design hotels in the Carpathians
This year I am going to the Carpathians for the first time on vacation. I accept any advice! What to see, where to eat, what to eat, how to spend time, where to book an excursion.

Usually we go to "Kamenka" http://www.kamyanka.com.ua/ - excellent service, normal fresh rooms, a wonderful restaurant with local and non-local cuisine. The hotel is located above the pass, only clouds are above, the restaurant has a cool terrace, where to sit in the evening, wrapped in a blanket, is an inhuman pleasure :)) There are only two drawbacks - there are no air conditioners in the rooms and a small area directly of the hotel (for those who need it). If you are interested in this particular hotel, keep in mind that the economy rooms are 4 rooms in a separate building above the boiler room with one shared bathroom and kitchenette, suitable for families or close friends, if you take all the rooms.
I can also recommend SPA-hotel "Respect" in Skhidnitsa.

Of the excursions, I would recommend Synevyr Lake, Mukachevo Castle and the ethnographic museum in Kolochava, which has not yet been promoted, in the open air, such as our Pirogovo.

I want to relax) Swimming pool, mountains, departure for excursions.
And I really want a beautiful, stylish interior. I cannot look at most Ukrainian hotels without tears. It just turns me over from cheap furniture made of thin fiberboard. And from bright pink "silk" bedspreads.

If with a pool - this is just "Respect". The interiors are up to par, but classic :) You won’t find loft and art deco there, but no pink bedspreads and thin chipboard :))
Good modern design in Reikartz hotels, we were in two of them, in the Carpathians - "Reikartz Karpaty", a pool with "sea" water has just opened there.

Looked at your recommendations. Respect-respect, they lack only an outdoor pool. Well, maybe even a lift to the mountains) The Ark is very cool, but this is not at all my format. And Kamenka is good! And financially and other pleasures) Is there an outdoor pool? It is in the list of services, but the photo is not visible.

The only thing that confuses Vezha is the expensive food. The husband already dreamed of how he would eat cheap dumplings in unmeasured portions)

Yes, in almost all good hotels in the Carpathians prices are close to those in Kiev. For me personally, it is also important to have non-local food on the menu. Because for a day or two you can still withstand these banoches, potato pancakes and homemade sausages, but then it becomes bad from their very sight: (((even if they are very tasty.

The closest place to the Carpathians where I ate is Galych, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Everything there was so delicious! Even the pea soup was amazing!
And in Transcarpathia I was still a student, I don’t remember at all what the food was like. But everyone praises

But there is Zakhar Berkut (near the ski lift) and everything else, small hotels without catering. Let's see what this cafe in Zakhara is, and if we really feel like it, then let's go look for the Zolotaya Podkova hotel in Slavskoe, they praise the cuisine there very much. But 4 kilometers, or even more to it) And in the other direction, in Volosyanka, the recreation center Ilz, also with a restaurant, you can try there, there are 3 kilometers. Considering that we are going for a week, and we plan to wander for three days on excursions and fishing trips, then in 4 days you can walk a couple of times, we’ll still walk, don’t sit in the same place, go to the village once, and dine at the hotel restaurant once. And dinner at the hotel.
A culinary tour will turn out in Lviv, but there we will overeat with goodies for three days)
