There is a good place in Ust-Chornaya. This is not quite western Ukraine - this is Transcarpathia, but it is very cool there.

I don’t advise you to go to N.G. in general. in my experience - everything is 2 times more expensive, you will eat up the New Year's table for a week. The main thing is to go when there is snow, then it will not be bad without N.G.

I agree that NG prices are 2 times more expensive though, whoever wants to either sit in a house in the mountains and meet NG or go skiing in the main and go to Prykarpattya in winter.
