I rent houses in Mykulychyna myself, but if you have a 9-month-old child. and you without your car, I would advise you to choose Yaremche (if you choose our direction), because there are nearby shops, cafes, pharmacies and a hospital (and this is important for those with small children). You can choose the location on the Google map (closer to the river, away from the road, but not too far, so that it is not difficult for you to go down every day from the mountains with a child to the store or to the bus stop to go on a tour). In no case do not go to Polyanytsya. There is nothing there. There aren't even sidewalks. We spent 7 days in confined space. They couldn't even walk. There are no seat belts in the taxi. Driving cars is scary. It seems to me that Yaremche is a more childish city. Do not listen to local recommendations. They also clean their own reviews on their sites. Follow the recommendations only. Holidays with young children are very specific, the rest can turn into depression (as I have in early spring).

I can recommend - Spravzhnya kazka. This is Podobovets. In the neighboring village - Pylypets, a modern double-seat lift operates all year round. This is a direct passage to the Borzhava meadows. There are plenty of photos on the Internet.
In general, the mountains here are high, but not steep. I was here without a husband with two children 2 and 7 years old and managed to see everything. Nearby is the Shypit waterfall.
We lived and ate in Sprazhnaya tale. Everything is prepared with a knife, so to speak. That is, all dishes are prepared specially for you. You have to wait 30 minutes to order.
In parallel with us there was a couple with a baby up to a year. They were very happy :)
