Could you please tell us about the nature in Zhdenievo?
it is very interesting whether the mountains are high there, whether the forest is far away. And I would also like to know the details about the hotel "Zhdya nya, Evo"

Hello Danka! We rested in Zhdeniyevo in October last year. We stayed at the Smerekovy Dvor Hotel, this hotel is located across the fence from Zhdi nya Evo. In Zhdeniyevo 4 hotels are located on the same line with each other. You can walk around the territory of any hotel, which we did, and besides, we went to the tavern and the sauna in the hotel you are interested in, so the information is reliable. But everything is in order: The village itself is unremarkable, the hotels are located at the end of the village in a more picturesque place, right behind the hotels there is a forest (the view from the window is excellent), if you go for a walk in the forest (and you definitely go), then you will have to climb as once uphill. There are also walking tours (guides and other excursions must be ordered from the hotel owners) to the nearby mountains (unfortunately, I don’t remember the names - we didn’t go), the mountain river Zhdenievka runs opposite the hotels, the area is beautiful, the air is clean. Regarding the hotel "Zhdi nya Evo" itself: the territory is beautiful, well-groomed, there is a parking lot and a playground, the hotel itself consists of 3 wooden cottages, there is an excellent sauna with a swimming pool, a tavern, a restaurant and a summer playground. The food is very tasty and plentiful.

By the way, much cheaper than it was in our hotel. The hosts are very friendly people. We met two guys from Moscow who had a rest in this hotel, they really liked it, they "threatened" to return there again (they rested in a suite, but I think that all their other rooms are no worse). By the way, you can see and evaluate all this on your own, the hotel has its own website, where everything can be seen from the photo, there are contact numbers. I don’t know for what time you are planning a trip, but we were told that there are a lot of people there in the summer, and due to the fact that they are traveling with children, it is noisy. We were (I repeat) in October, it was just SUPER!!!! Almost no one is there, silence and grace, and even the weather was just fabulous!!!! From Zhdeniyevo you can go and see many beautiful places: Uzhgorod (local history museum under the "open sky"), Mukachevo (Castle "Palanok"), Shenborn hunting castle + arboretum around the castle, Beregovo (pool with water from thermal springs; we did not swim, we, as residents of a seaside town, were not impressed, the water is green, though warm at any time of the year, but there were plenty of people), the Shypit waterfall, the Pilipetsky lift to the mountain.

In the spring - the Valley of daffodils, and of course the MEGA-PERFECT lake "Synevyr"!!!!! As a matter of fact, when we were choosing a place to rest, we chose Zhdeniyevo, because all the sights are in 1-1.5 hours. drive from the village, and most importantly, there was a visit to the lake (I warn you right away, it’s better to go up to the lake by car, pay an extra 15 UAH. , but you won’t “die” like we were going up there on foot (we weren’t told that it was possible by car, as a result we barely “crawled”, the climb is all the time uphill and not close, although the road to the lake itself is also beautiful!) also, if off topic, I don’t know if you have been somewhere in the Carpathians before, but I, as a fan of holidays in the Carpathians, would like to recommend you to go to Yaremche, believe me - you won’t regret it !!!! There is MUCH more national, precisely Hutsul coloring there, and the cuisine is tastier! The town itself is quiet, provincial, but you don’t need to “sit” in it, but go on the proposed excursions, I assure you there is something to see in the vicinity, and they have an excellent travel agency, we listened to the guide with an “open mouth”, so everything was interesting , there were a lot of impressions, the prices are very, very reasonable, there are a lot of types of all kinds of housing.

We stayed in a private cottage with a wonderful, very sincere woman, we still call each other and dream of going to her again, only with our Kinder! The choice of food options is large: restaurants with "Live" Hutsul music, and cafes in the national style, and of course "KOLYBY", it's just a MUST visit! We had a great time, the warmest and most sincere memories remained, and we liked it (to be completely honest) more than in Zhdeniyevo! Yes, and it was cheaper, which did not affect the level of service at all. If you are interested, I will share contacts and options for excursions that I myself went on, and also tell you the travel agency with which we traveled (there are several of them in Yaremche, but we are glad that we turned to this one). Have a good rest!

Good evening! Thanks for the detailed answer. We have not visited anywhere in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia. And in Yaremche and in Uzhgorod and in Mukachevo and on Synevyr. In general, if you list, then you have to write for a long time. Zhdeniyevo was planned for this summer precisely because we first plan to spend 10 days in Lviv. And Zhdenievo is 3 hours away. Therefore, from Lviv, straight to Zhdeniyevo. They just wanted to relax and travel around the district. By the way, I am generally a fan not only of the Carpathians, but of the entire Western Ukraine. We usually go by car and drive through the entire western, from Khmelnitsky to Uzhgorod. And in Yaremche we lived in a private hotel "Forest Fairy Tale", right on the edge of the forest, amazing experience.

About Synevyr Lake. We did not dare to crawl there in our car. We were brought up by locals in some kind of miracle jeep, from the time of the 2nd World War. Impressions from Synevyr are amazing. And also, I can recommend to visit with. Business. This is the geographical center of Europe. There is an amazing kolyba-museum. In which they cook trout caught right there in the river.

Rested in the summer of 2011. in the room for 200 UAH. As for the hotel itself, everything was satisfactory. There was even internet via Wi-Fi. Here the rest is more family with children, a little evening entertainment
