I agree with the previous answer that you need to carefully review your laptop and remove everything compromising away from sin. Although I have been to the Emirates twice and have not seen these devices being inspected in any special way. I don't think there will be any problems! Last year I was in the same hotel. There are rooms with a small window high up. I'm claustrophobic.
