4-5 days is definitely not necessary to fly. The flight is long and do not forget about the time zone, it is very difficult for the body. Further Havana 1 day, at least. And from Havana (there are no beaches in it) it is tiring to go to Varadero, there are beaches, natural beauty and relaxation.
