Given the euro exchange rate, to my salary, before the next trip to Cyprus, I am interested in the question: "what to bring to Cyprus?" (from legal and scarce there) :-)

There is a shortage of water in Cyprus. If you go there not by plane, but by a tanker loaded with fresh water, then the rest, I think, will pay off. And you will also get a good profit :-) http://cyprusbutterfly.com.cy/news/deficit-vody-v-dambah-kipra
аватар kolyan_cat
Don’t take your husband, there is no such shortage, and it’s inexpensive)))
аватар Slav1
kolyan_cat Human trafficking cannot be called legal ))
аватар Slav1
Vic-Grin I'm afraid the supply of fresh water will worsen the ecological situation in my region. Because only legal and safe)

If you smoke, I recommend taking cigarettes. In Cyprus, prices range from 4.50 to 10 euros per pack.
Buy an adapter for English sockets, we sell it for a penny and will last a long time!
Sometimes mosquitoes bite at night, you know you need repellent, and again it's cheaper here...
If the beach and the bottom of the sea are rocky, then it is better to buy "coral slippers" from us, they will save your legs and the injury will not ruin your vacation!
Have a nice holiday!!!
аватар Slav1
Slippers are the theme. Especially after I stepped on a sea urchin - hellish pain
аватар TanjaYad
About the adapter to the point. I bought it there, the quality is poor, I barely lived a week))
аватар petromir
irons, frying pans, pressure cookers, refrigerators, winter tires, a vodka apparatus to drive ...
аватар ollennka
There is no normal tea. Do you really want to bring something to Cyprus for the purpose of selling it?
And adapters in hotels (in my experience) were either in the rooms everywhere, or they were given free of charge at the reception. I generally managed without adapters with the help of a manicure stick))).
аватар TanjaYad
In our hotel there was not enough for everyone))
аватар Vic-Grin
Here is the answer, what to carry scarce. Bring a suitcase of adapters and when you check in, immediately at the reception, sell them in bulk to the hotel manager. Or retail to tourists. So more expensive. Walk along the beach and loudly offer: "To whom the adapters are fresh, hot ....." :))

At the expense of tea, I want to answer: There is tea! "PG Tips" very high quality English!
Sold in supermarkets "Lidl" "Carrefour" "Papantoniou" and some other...
аватар ollennka
Yes, I meant that in cafe-restaurants tea is disgusting - everywhere it is packaged.

"Do you really want to bring something to Cyprus for the purpose of selling it?"
Every joke has its share of jokes. ))) I've already decided to tip chocolates. In ATB now chocolate Korona for 12 UAH. And if you leave 1 euro - this is 30 UAH, and if 2 euros, then 60 UAH. Chocolate is more profitable :-)
аватар sigur62
Stop being mean.
Tipping with chocolates is strong))) You are not some kind of quilted jackets)))
аватар ollennka
She said she was joking...

Chocolate is the theme. We take five pieces with us. The locals love it. And the gorilka made an indelible impression! It’s a pity that you can’t trample a couple of boxes with you. Contrabass anyway.

Technically, I don’t understand the process of treating Cypriots with vodka. Do you invite them to your room for a drink? Or to their house?
аватар 19062005
Present, what's incomprehensible?
аватар ollennka
So a present or a tip?
аватар Vic-Grin
Gorilka is a class. Gorilka, especially if on a ball, then Muslims drink it.
аватар 19062005
It does not interfere!

Vodka can be safely transported in a box, put it in a suitcase so that it doesn’t get beaten, no one will say a word. I always take 6-8 bottles with me on business trips, for gifts, and I use a couple of bottles with colleagues in the room. Also, always with you bacon, a couple of sticks of sausage, olives, brown bread and the highlight of the program - mayonnaise to make a clearing in the room)) Although meat and vodka more than 1 liter are not allowed in any country, it always leaked, even to the States))
аватар Slav1
They have their own, they say delicious wine, and they will lead the gorilla? )))
Although there is an idea: to use vodka for wine. :-)
Concerning chocolates, these are presents for those who will help and give tips to all the cool people who met along the way. Leased house by the sea does not provide tips, because we will cook and clean)
It came as a surprise to me when I saw Georgians carrying chocolate from Kyiv to Tbilisi in suitcases.
So chocolates are another product.
I just wonder what the Cypriots are in deficit and what is in the surplus.
The businessman is not so hot with me ... Although I remember selling a couple of Tunisian leather handbags at home and still with fat :-)

Presents from the heart - still all right. But dragging a couple of extra pounds of food on vacation for the sake of dubious tip savings is too much, IMHO. Yes, here the vast majority of the forum's salary in euros has fallen by 2 times, but you can always review some expense items or do without tips at all.

We went to Cyprus for a month and a half with small children, lived in apartments. We always take buckwheat, semolina with us :).
аватар Kira222
Slav1 - had fun, are you there, are you going to trade? Immediately before your eyes is a kind of little coat (at a temp. +35), opening it, inside there are all sorts of deficits on the floors ...
аватар flustar
I read about quilted jackets and chocolate. I just didn’t see a single quilted jacket on the forum that was going to rest and sell something.))) Absurdity and savagery. you to Poland to rest and take more floor lamps, table lamps and garlic makers. And you will have a rest))))
аватар Vic-Grin
Can you tell us more about your experience of traveling to Poland with floor lamps and garlic makers? Tell us about this business of yours.

I'm surprised my question is still discussed. I am also surprised that some kind of internal anger prevents me from looking at the world with a positive attitude. Surprised that the question moved towards a discussion of nationality.
Folks, that was a JOKE QUESTION.
And so I really liked it in Cyprus, I didn’t carry anything with me. But she brought with her a lot of tea, coffee and carob syrups. The taste is specific, but the immunostimulant is very good, everyone who drinks has not yet gotten sick, although it is already autumn. I recommend it.
And a couple of bottles of olive oil, 3 times cheaper than ours (what is Extra Vigin) and the taste is much better. Everything for yourself and relatives (otherwise they will again be accused of vagrantism) :-)
