Thank you for your responses. Very interesting program in Alexandria. I just wish the swim was longer. And how is the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea? Has anyone snorkeled there?

It is best to go for 2 days Cairo-Alexandria with an overnight stay in Alexandria. We spent the night in a very decent hotel. You can also swim there if you get up early in the morning.

Just 3 weeks ago from there. We really enjoyed. In Cairo we visited the historical museum, the pyramids, the Sphinx, the oil factory. Cairo is just a big dump, but that's not the point. We spent the night in Alexandria in a luxurious hotel, then went to the botanical garden, to the Mediterranean Sea, to the excavated ancient theater. In short, I liked everything. We generally had a plan to see as many sights as possible. Go, you won't regret it :)

I can’t say anything about the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea, we went in early December, it was cool, we didn’t swim. And we lived in Alexandria in an excellent hotel, but in my opinion only Teztur organizes excursions with an overnight stay in Alexandria, the rest of the operators spend the night in Cairo.
