Flying with insulin
Maybe someone has come across this issue, we are traveling with two diabetic children and will carry insulin and everything else to him. Are there any problems when leaving Egypt, do you need any information? I really need advice!

Ask your travel agency. It's dangerous to give advice here.

Unfortunately, the tour agency does not have such information in Sheremetyevo, they said that there would be no problems when flying there, but back ...

Will you need to take injections on the flight or will you carry insulin in your luggage?
аватар yulya9106
yes, because the flight is long, about 3-4 hours, and if you put insulin in your luggage, it will turn out even more.

I googled here - people write that you need to get a certificate from an endocrinologist (+ let them put more seals), which should indicate the diagnosis and that such and such insulin is needed, the method of its administration. Take in your hand luggage a glucometer, insulins, a syringe pen, a sweet drink or food, in short, everything you need. If they ask questions, say the diagnosis (see in advance what it is called in English), customs officers are usually afraid in this case and do not interfere. Who wants to take on such a responsibility? If the patient enters a coma, then you can sue.
In general, there should be no problems. Good luck.

My mom flew. Just asked what it is.

Agree with Polina17
There are recommendations in such cases to have a prescription from a doctor and preferably with a translation into English. Good luck to you!

Egypt is not the best place for not very healthy people to travel
Better in this particular case more civilized places
Jokes aside

But now we know that not the most polite people live in Belarus, intolerant of other people's opinions

I live in Hurghada. Mom flew to me (she is also a diabetic and not only that - 60 years old). She flew away 10 years younger. I also live here, because I can’t live in a different climate. And in the hotels here, not everything is so bad (I don’t think that they will take a bad hotel with children).
