We rested at the Arabia Azur 4 * hotel, Bel Air 3 * is located behind it, as if on the second line, but there is no road between them. The beach is common, go 150-200 meters across the territory of Arabia. We once went to the territory of Bel Air, the building forms a closed rectangular space, like a "stone bag". In the middle pools, a bar. It seemed to me that there was not much space, and some feeling that I went out for a walk in the yard :)) there are tiles and stones all around under my feet. . . In the evening it’s quite cozy, the lights are on, people sit on the terraces (1st floor), drink, you walk past them as if on your feet (so it’s probably better to take the floor above). You will be able to use the restaurants of Arabia only at lunchtime: 1 - by the pool, 2 - on the artificial island of Marina, they still cook pizza there. You can also use bars. But to have dinner - strictly at home. We talked with tourists from Belle, they said that in Arabia the food is better, apparently, that's why we could not dine quietly at the pool, because. all the tables were occupied by tourists from Belle :)) Then they even put their bracelets on them. Ice cream at the pool bar in Arabia is also free for you all day. Animation also seems to be in a common indoor theater, somewhere between the hotels. I don’t know about teapots, about water either.

But the beaches there are really superb, for every taste: excellent sandy, 2 lagoons, Marina Island with its living reef, went down the ladder - and you don’t have to swim anywhere! We went to Arabia only because of the beaches. There is no other hotel in Hurghada with such diversity. And also - a minimum of compatriots and animation. In general, complete relaxation! I think you will like it!
аватар stiliz
Thank you, but the beach and the sea and the sleigh days are super - we choose between these hotels according to the condition of the rooms and the food!

Kettle, tea, sugar, bottled water, cola, fanta, everything is in the room. Didn't meet E. coli. He smoked wherever he was, somehow he did not think about non-smokers. All windows face the courtyard, it is better not to take rooms closer to the evening bar, otherwise you will listen to Nemchurov's croaking all evening. Towels by the pool, you can rent on the beach (map). They ate everywhere, there were no complaints, after the Turkish three-fours, a cornucopia. The first floor IMHO sucks completely, somehow it doesn’t make fun to live almost in the pool, and you don’t feel a sense of privacy / security of the home, although the Fritz like it - exhibitionists probably .. If you don't like smoke, don't go to the lobby/reception in the evening, you will suffocate, there is someone with ventilation, and the Nazis, it seems, for the joy of cheapness, smoke only local tobacco (a mixture of camel dung with karkde IMHO).
аватар stiliz
Where is the evening bar? And how does the numbering begin - why ask at the reception?
Is there a manager there to work with Russian-speaking tourists? In Sani Daisy, 3 Russian girls work with Russian-speaking clients: they solve problems, are they interested in everyone, are they satisfied, etc.
аватар PolikSVT
stiliz, which Sunny Days do you mean? This is the name of the Egyptian network! And there are 3 hotels: El Palacio 4*, Palma de Mirette 4* and MIRETTE 3*
аватар Mascot71
To the left if you look from the reception, to the right it works in my opinion only until dinner. I don't remember the numbers/numbering of the rooms. They speak Russian disgustingly, rather they don’t speak at all, except for one person at the reception, learn English or German.
аватар Mascot71
To be honest, I liked the hotel, it is well located (its own reef), expanse for snorkelers, I was in Egypt for the first time (probably the last, the poverty behind the walls of the hotel is annoying). The feeding is lovely, the staff is courteous (very noticeable after Turlandia). The neighborhood of Arabia makes the territory intricate, you can wander for a long time between bars, restaurants, pools and beaches. But all this has a downside, this is EVERYTHING for the Germans, we are served worse, even despite the tip, and I am a patriot, and this defeated people, who sometimes behave more defiantly than the guys from Tagil, are sincerely annoying. Believe me, I do not suffer from an inferiority complex, I always try to behave politically correct and impartially.
аватар PolikSVT
Mascot71, we went to Arabia because of its beaches (you will understand me), and also for a quiet holiday, free from wild animation and the same wild compatriots. All "Tagilites" came to the beach exclusively from Bel, Russian young mothers yelled to the whole world at their children "fool, parasite, whom did you tell!" (these are the mildest expressions), and in general, there were a significant number of Russians in Belle, which cannot be said about Arabia. We were very comfortable, no one considered us second-class, drinks were brought quickly and even without baksheesh, everyone was smiling in the mornings and evenings. There are no queues, the bars are empty, the Germans we came across are all meek. In general, complete relaxation!
аватар Mascot71
I don’t know, maybe the fact that they went to their Catholic Christmas played a role, but there were 80 percent Germans, arrogant like bulldozers, crazy children, so they still don’t scold them, our mothers, even with screams, stop the outrages. In Arabia, they ate once (dinner), it tastes better there, but cultural Europeans arrange queues worse than ours in Turkish threes, but it’s clear there - it may not be enough, but why make a move when food is in bulk? As for the second grade, I succinctly described in the review, the case at the reception. There were still unpleasant moments, but in general the rest was a success (I didn’t care about these Europeans, we are still better). It's not nice when you have to choose between the service and the contingent of vacationers, it's a shame that where we and the staff are rude and the food is not even worse. .. A vivid example of why this is so is last year, when we drove a cart to the hotel demanding financial compensation for their jambs, the attitude towards us (my family) changed a lot and fruit and wine in the room and the manager's daily conversations "How are you-bla-bla." And the most important confession: "The owner said that there would be a special attitude towards tourists who wrote a claim, and as USUAL to the rest." Enough, otherwise we will soon get duplicates of SochiYalta, abroad. Something like this. . .
аватар stiliz
PolikSVT, I mean sled day palasio (5-ku), others (4-ki and 3-ki) don't have a reef. But in principle, it doesn't matter - they have the same service.
Mascot71, what manager did you deal with, Russian speaking? Of course, I can speak tolerably in English, but if this is a German hotel, then the question arose about the Russian-speaking staff...
аватар stiliz
Did you come across know-topless on the beach?
There are ladies from Russia (middle-aged) or from the Czech Republic (brats) who will take off the top of their swimsuit and sunbathe like at home. In the sleigh daisy 5*, the managers could not convince them to get dressed or go to a special place. We had to change the place of "deployment" ourselves.
аватар Mascot71
I didn't see Topless, although everywhere on the beaches there are healthy banners of KNOW / NIHT Topless. So there were precedents. Since I spoke English (sloppy), I found out about the existence of a Russian-speaking manager on the third day.
аватар PolikSVT
stiliz, read the reviews carefully, don't ruin your vacation! (I'm talking about El Palacio, it has been 4 * for a long time, just some MOTs and sites still "push" it as 5 *. We rested there in 2008, then the letters "Sunrise" were knocked down in front of us, leaving the old name of the hotel "El Palacio". The hotel was bought by the Egyptian network Sunny Days, and since then it has been getting worse and worse. A photo of the local "sea" (Comparing it with Arabia and the local reef is just a crime!) I will send you in a personal, otherwise they are from another site and admin All this information will be deleted (checked!).
аватар stiliz
PolikSVT, yes, we rested there that year, that's why I compare. Haven't been anywhere else! They sell it to the Germans as a 3-ku. But we really liked the reef and the sea there, and the staff catered to us in everything ... The service there and the cuisine are not very good, so we are looking for another one.
аватар PolikSVT
Well, for the first time, maybe nothing, when there is nothing to compare with! Look at Arabella Azur 4 *, if you don’t want Arabia, it’s also a good hotel, you can use the beaches of Arabia. Original architecture, has its own good reef, near the Calabush disco.
аватар stiliz
Yes, this is not the point: we want or do not want to go to Arabia. At the beginning, we have already written the questions that matter to us. We have received answers to some of them. We are waiting for the rest. Also, closer to the time of the trip, Arabia can rise in price a lot, and Vel Air or Sunny Days will be in the price range affordable for us. So we think - does it make sense to give more money for Vel Air or Arabella compared to Sunny Days.
аватар ximchanka
We were in Bel Azur in late October - early November. We lived on the 3rd floor (if I'm not mistaken, room 364). This is the other side of the reception exit and exactly in the middle. All windows overlook the pool and silence in the morning and evening. Never smelled smoke. All floors have an entrance door and access to a balcony. On the first floor, the balconies as such are part of the courtyard. Indeed, the Germans like to plop down from the room right into the pool. I also saw that they take these rooms with small children. Bottled water is given one large bottle per person per day. We had enough. I haven't heard anything about poisoning. The food is very tasty. They write that Arabella is tastier. But we decided that people are too lazy to go to their hotel and therefore they mostly dine either at the Marina or at Arabella. Bars are served in both hotels and billiards can also be played in both. There is no animation as such. Mostly in German and English. But there was a Bingo evening and one animator spoke Russian (not really good). So the Russians are also attached, it would be your desire. We did not feel any bad attitude from the staff.
аватар ximchanka
Of course, the waiters are more suitable for the Germans. But after all, in our establishments - who gives a tip is the one who is better served. In Arabella in the evenings there is music and parties, and in Bel Azur there is silence. We concluded that it is not worth overpaying for Arabella, if almost everything can be obtained at the price of Bel Air. If you have any questions write. Impressions are still fresh.
аватар PolikSVT
ximchanka, you are mistaken - next to Bel Air (in the general area) hotel Arabia. Arabella is a completely different hotel, located next to Arabia. Arabella has its own territory, in no way connected with Arabia and Bel Air.
аватар stiliz
thank you ximchanka! More questions:
Are the rooms connected or isolated?
Were there mosquitoes or other insects?
And in the bar, bottled water is given in bottles or poured into glasses (in Sunny Daisy at the bar, bottles of water were given 2 in hands an unlimited number of times)?
Currency exchange office if there is, then where?
Billiards is paid, if so how much is it?
аватар ximchanka
Indeed, I'm sorry, I was wrong. Near Arabia.
аватар ximchanka
I don’t know exactly about the rooms, but there were several rooms on different floors. It seems to be all the same.
Mosquitoes and other insects were not seen. But it can be individual, from time of year. I always take a fumigator with me, just in case.
I can't say about water. The bar didn't ask. But all other drinks are poured into glasses.
There is an exchanger not very far on the street and we saw it in Arabella when we were walking. We changed $ 100 at the airport, the rate was good. We've had enough. The stores take dollars without problems.
Billiards was played in Arabia for free.
аватар stiliz
Thanks for the info.
Does anyone know if there is a safe in the room?
Do they provide bottled water in unlimited quantities?
Is there a common door between the rooms (rooms) - connecting, and are there rooms without an adjacent door (know connecting)?
Has anyone taken a catamaran and how much is it?
аватар ximchanka
There is definitely a safe.
аватар elenashukevich
The balcony door on the first floor slams shut.
Everything you need for tea/coffee is in the room.
There is also a safe in the room.
The amount of water they gave us was enough.
A couple of times they found beetles in the bathroom, once a large (horned).
From the reception in the evening there is a free bus to the Marina embankment (I don’t remember what time), it also picks up at a certain time.
At the pool bar, ask for juices (there are mango, passion fruit, tomato, etc.). They give them reluctantly - you have to ask.
аватар PolikSVT
stiliz, for the first time I meet such a strange respondent as you. For the sake of interest, I looked into your account and after your question: "And how much can I take a bathrobe with me?" And here's another masterpiece: "Are these pictures really from this hotel? Give me the coordinates of the shooting to believe it! - something like that!) The desire to communicate and discuss has disappeared! You have not been to Arabia, and how do you already know and answer people, that there is a "good coral reef" ??? And in general, only a blind person can compare the sea and beaches of Arabia with El Palacio! I think if you again go to the "wonderful" Sunny Days, Bel Air and Arabia, nothing will come of it These are the "meticulous" and poison everyone's vacation! Excuse me - what questions - such answers!
аватар stiliz
PolikSVT, I do not excuse you. Are questions not asked to get an answer, not an assessment? This is who I managed to "poison" the vacation, isn't it you? And where did you find my review about the reef of Arabia? Of course, I already know a lot about the reef of Arabia: both shooting from space, and photo reviews, and the proximity of reef beaches to Sunny Days says a lot ... but only eyewitnesses know the rest of the features of the hotel. And you were already there in 2008, and we were in 2011: the reef is gorgeous and the lagoon is clean!
There is such a category of people - they don’t find out everything, then they regret ruining their vacation. I'm not interested.
If I write about the hotel, then only what I really know. There are no ideal hotels, but when warned - armed!
аватар PolikSVT
"And what size are the bugs? And how many mm thick are the pancakes? And how many legs does a pool table have? Is the pool water watery?" If you take the trouble to carefully read a million reviews on different sites, then your questions will be more constructive and accurate. And I don't need your forgiveness at all :))) As they say, to each his own, you - El Palacio (that's the correct name of the hotel).
аватар stiliz
PolikSVT, maybe already enough flooding. You answered only part of the questions and switched to insults.
Thank you for your constructive answers, everything else is of no interest to anyone.
