We were in the lagoon on the first day. The water is up to the neck, there are algae at the bottom. But for children and those who do not know how to swim well. To the right, where the turret is, there are practically only corals, which is why there was no one there. Good for snorkeling. But from the side of the fish restaurant, where the bridge and yachts moor, there is a good entrance. Although there are also corals, the flags are posted. I draw your attention to the fact that in the morning there is high tide, and in the afternoon there is low tide and mud. So, ideally, there is no such thing as floating far away and there is no even bottom. But the sea here is amazing - very warm, gentle, beautiful. At the entrance, a crab lived in the stones, and we fed the fish directly from the bridge. Please note that it turns out that in the morning until 10-00 you can come to the fish restaurant and have a free breakfast. The only place where they give orange fresh is here, although it is also diluted with water. We used to come and have breakfast here all the time, and then we stayed here. I read about the amazing sea in Desert Rose and am amazed, maybe in October 2017 I was in another Desert? The hotel itself is a charm, the territory is not just well-groomed, but licked. Kitchen - 5. And the sea - no. I did not swim in the puddle, which is called the lagoon. Didn't see the point. Bathed in the sea. Where to go is not important. From the right bank to the left there is one and a half hundred meters, you swim in a few minutes. But the point is not the length of the beach, but the fact that there are practically no corals there, and those that are, it's just a sob. This was my fifth trip to Egypt and first to Hurghada. The first and most likely the last. If you go to Egypt, then for the sake of the sea and the underwater kingdom. And you can just swim and eat delicious food in other places.
