It is quite possible to go to Cairo for 1 day. Yes, the bus is hard (but to Luxor, it seemed to me, even harder). In a day you will have time to visit the museum (it's something !!!) and see the Pyramids! By the way, most likely, the impressions from them will not be very good ... I checked it myself! All my childhood I dreamed of visiting the pyramids - a bummer! I'm not talking about the pyramids themselves, no ... I'm talking about the surrounding entourage! Dirty (everything in camel poop), very intrusive merchants - they don’t let you not only look around, but even pass! In short, you run between camels and merchants and look not at the Priamids, but at your feet and fight off the "gift for a pound." Luxor is the best!
