Rested at the Marlin Inn before the renovation, as far as I know they have only recently opened. The hotel is located almost in the center of Hurghada (5-10 minutes by taxi). We rested not in the main building, but in two-story bungalows that go to the beach. The room is normal, everything worked, the furniture is of course old, but still holding on. I want to note that special shoes are absolutely not needed, there are simply no corals there and entry into the sea is sand. The beach is small, as well as the whole hotel (sunbeds and enough space for everyone). The sea is the most common, perhaps a little dirty due to the parking of boats.
