I assure you - there is nothing like it there, everything is quiet and calm. The hotel is like being in paradise. We went to the center of Hurghada (the main shopping street - Sheraton), we were also worried. Taxi was taken near the hotel ($4 for 18 km). Taxi drivers are friendly. If you treat this people with peace and a smile, they will treat you in the same way. At the Sheraton, the sellers are very annoying - it is very difficult to leave the store without buying anything. Nothing out of the ordinary at the airport. People are like people. The staff at the hotel, when they found out that we were from Ukraine, sympathetically said: "Ah, the revolution." So do not listen to TV, but rather people's reviews like this. Have a nice holiday. By the way, we really liked the hotel - I advise.
