prices in cleopatra bazaar
please tell me if there are fixed prices in the Cleopatra Bazaar or is it necessary to bargain to the point of madness? Yes, and the shops at the Sheraton interest me (bargaining). It was the first time in Egypt and I was afraid to leave the hotel, because there was an unhealthy interest among the local population. a year still muster up the courage and leave for the city))))) I just don’t like to bargain to the point of horror - where do they have shops with fixed prices?

Cleopatra Bazaar is just what you need: fixed prices, non-intrusive staff, air conditioning. We went there from the Dana Beach Hotel. If we didn’t want to communicate with the sellers of small shops, then we didn’t go near them, you can go along the second row, where there are no shops, closer to the road or even on the other side, where there are only hotels. Of course, cars passing by whistle and hoot, but we did not pay attention to this. The first time was unusual, and then simply ignored.

Cleopatra Bazaar - do they have one? It seemed to me that there were several of them (or it started to double in my eyes while we were taking people to hotels). Are the prices there divine or ripped off? ended up selling it for 7

In Cleoptra prices are fixed but high.
I have been to Hurghada many times and I will tell you that it is worth haggling. I will give an example in Cleopatra a women's (bath) dressing gown 250 pounds, and in the center in the Karkusha store (cotton store) you can buy it for 120 pounds. Here is the difference for you. And many other examples.
Bargain because it's your money.
If you are interested in something specific, write to me.

And how can you bargain in the Cleopatra Bazaar? At the checkout?
On the 2nd floor, gold and silver jewelry, someone tried to bargain, the answer was: we can’t drop, we have final prices.
Cleopatra, which I'm talking about, you can see here at this link:

Is the assortment and quality of goods in Cleopatra and on the street the same? Yes, and the local currency is in trouble: I exchanged dollars for pounds, came to bargain. I ask the point how much in pounds - the price is unreal; in another place I asked to transfer from pounds to dollars - the price is space)))) In short, some kind of nightmare. So I didn’t buy anything worthwhile ((((Yes, the sellers tortured them with invitations restaurant (((I ran away without memory and sat in the hotel. And so I wanted to go beyond it))))

I don’t know what they sell on the street and in small shops, I never went in. I wrote to you, you can walk on the other side, there are no shops, respectively, and sellers.
I don’t know how sellers pester me if I’m not interested in anything from them, my friend and I walked past them, no matter what they said, we didn’t stop, didn’t talk to them, shook our heads at all proposals in denial. We walked purposefully towards Cleopatra. We never had problems, but we also didn’t walk alone, at least together, or even together with our husbands.

I had the exact opposite experience with karkus :)

And not far from Cleopatra, there is a Senzo supermarket, they definitely don’t stick there, the prices are fixed. There you can buy everything from fruits to souvenirs.

And is this Senzo on the main street or will I have to look for it in the back streets? Will I go again to Sunny Days El Palacio, I’ll probably order a taxi at the hotel: tell the driver to take the bazaar to Cleopatra? And if you catch a taxi yourself, what will be the fare? We don’t consider minibuses) )))
аватар margusha7474
By the way, I also walked purposefully, but the hooting of the sellers really strained my son. He said that if I didn’t dye my hair black for the next trip to Egypt, then I wouldn’t go anywhere)))))

Senzo is a huge supermarket. Perhaps we are talking about different Cleopatras, I wrote about Cleopatra who is not far from the hotel 1000 and 1 night, Senzo is just between 1000 and 1 night and Cleopatra. But there, in principle, there cannot be nooks and crannies - it's not in the city to be. To get your bearings, try looking at the satellite imagery.

Again, see my link, photo 3, this is what Senzo Mull looks like. But, friends, there are branded stores and boutiques, prices cannot be compared with Cleopatra Bazaar. I looked at some things from Adidas or cosmetics with perfumes, much more expensive than in Germany. There is even a different assortment than in Cleopatra. Senzo is definitely the only one there, it was opened only in the spring. We took a taxi from the Dana Beach Hotel to Senzo, $3.00 one way per car, if it wasn't so hot we could walk. And to Cleopatra only on foot, well, 400-500 meters.

Brand stores and boutiques in Senzo, go along the perimeter of this center, and in the middle of a large, large store. Once again, there is everything from fruits and prepared food to souvenirs. I highly recommend buying hookah tobacco there - it is the cheapest here. For comparison, in Cleopatra 1 pack. tobacco (local production) costs 3-5 pounds, and Senzo 1 pound. Fruits are very cheap, for example mangoes, we took 4-5 pounds per 1 kg.

I wrote about that Cleopatra Bazaar, which is located next to some Albatros hotel, on line 2, the name is not visible in the photo. It's almost a corner building. If you stand facing Cleopatra, there will be a hotel to the right, a road and a large wasteland to the left.

Yes, you are right, there is a large supermarket in the middle of this mall. We were there. I looked at T-shirts for children with local themes, but I did not choose anything. Bought a bottle of water and went home.

just returned from hurghada, yes, in fact, cleopatra bazaar has fixed prices, they accept euro dollars and local currency, there are 2 of them in hurghada, the assortment is the same, prices are low, you won’t regret going there, very cheap men’s t-shirts 6$, flip flops, flippers masks, slippers for carals, gold, silver and very cheap suitcases

and also fixprice
аватар anneesa
were in August in Sultan Beach opposite Cleopatra Bazaar.
Liked this store very much. for some goods, the price came out less than bargaining in the city in the shops. on the second day of rest we went on a tour of Hurghada, got a bunch of souvenirs there, tired of bargaining. and when we got to Cleopatra, it seemed to us bliss, no one touches, it’s cool in the room, the prices are fixed and quite good, the assortment is huge, no need to rush from one shop to another.
