The main reason for choosing this particular country is the Red Sea with all the exoticism of its flora and fauna + historical monuments of ancient Egyptian culture (for me this is one of the main goals of the trip). We are not picky, the hotel does not have excessive requirements: the most exciting animation, clean and comfortable beach (at least on the 5th line :)), elementary well-groomed hotel, friendly staff. Food is not important - we are mostly herbivores))))) Please advise something in the category of 4 *, but budget!

I advise you to choose a hotel with the following requirements: only a building, no bungalows, so that you can move from the room through the air-conditioned room with the restaurant. A small territory, so that you can walk less in the sun, and there are more pools and that there is water in the room, for free. Or at least coolers at the bar or on the beach to get some water. Naturally, no excursions, it's just suicide.

Yes .. and there are obvious problems with the flora in Egypt :-) Fauna .. yes, in the sea. But there is no flora. desert :-) Well, planted trees and shrubs in hotels, and watered forcibly, can hardly pass for flora :-)

There is another way - but this is for advanced "users" who have time - go to the operator's website, select all hotel offers, drop them into Excel and sort by price. Thus, I learned that the same hotels can cost differently depending on the date and time of departure. :) So for me this is the best way, but it is not convenient for everyone.

Look at the hotels of Makadi Bay - when I read the reviews, I wanted to go to everything at once and at the same time!)) And the prices are pleasing, lower than for Hurghada hotels of the same star rating. We chose Stella Garden 5 * - 48 thousand for 13 nights in the second half of July - cheaper only for nothing!)) The only negative of the hotel is a long pontoon, but judging by the reviews, it only annoys the first day (we'll go and find out).

If you want a lot of fish in the sea right next to your hotel beach, then choose Sharm, Makadi. The distance to the sights, the Pyramids, is the same.

Arabia is a good hotel! But it's far from budget. 50 thousand cannot be met unambiguously. And there is almost no animation! You can see Zahabia 3+, it is cheaper, but with a large territory, good food, the beach is both sandy and coral (only 250 m from the hotel)

Before dinner in the dining room, the animator boy invited each guest to an evening entertainment program. Messages about upcoming shows were posted in advance on the hotel premises.
The show started at 21:00 at the Zakhabiya Tent across the road. We were able to go to it only three times: to the Nubian show - we really liked it, to the Egyptian dances (there was also a male dance with skirts) - we also liked it, to the comedy show - we giggled. At 22-00 the disco started, but we didn't go.

There are also competitions "Mr. Zakhabia", "Miss Zahabia", for children every day - mini-disco. In general, the holidaymakers of this hotel have no complaints about the animation!

I agree with PolikSVT, in July from Moscow Arabia 64 tons. You can also go to Zakhabia - the underwater world is excellent! When we rested there were many foreigners (Germans, Dutch, they were only engaged in the contemplation of fish and corals!

We had just returned from Sunny Days el Palasso, we were considering an alternative not to Arabia but to Bel Air (on the same territory as Arabia, but cheaper), but we didn’t fit into the budget and went back to Sunny. On the territory of Arabia, already in May there was nowhere to spit, on Zahabiya it was almost empty, on the Sunny 50-60%. This year, half of the hotel has undergone restoration, although the furniture has remained the same, but the territory and buildings have been updated. With food this year there have been significant improvements in terms of variety of dishes and service. True, our tourists managed to create queues just to put everything that the chefs cooked right in front of them. The beach from the sea still has a lot of living creatures, especially where the cliff is deep. A ticket with a flight and collection for two for 12 days in May cost us 36,000 rubles (in Bel Air it was 40,000 rubles). There will be other questions, write in a personal.
