I am also from the former USSR, but always and everywhere they treat me very well. And, here, some representatives of Ukraine (not all, of course) cause very negative emotions in the hotel administration. I wish you and the author of the question a good rest. And I was lucky to get acquainted with the British on an excursion, when one lady, about 40 years old, and her homeless-looking friends, already in the morning, got into the excursion bus drunk, and the lady sitting next to me tried to get me to sleep. It's good that the driver offered to transfer next to him. And he explained that they have a concept like"alcohol tourism ". After that, she took all 2 places and fell asleep. Perked up for a picnic with a drink. We do not go on English-speaking excursions anymore. I'm not writing this to offend anyone, but to share my experience. Here! Finally understood each other. It is better to go to a more expensive hotel! There people will not start political disputes, they will not behave like pigs.
