I completely agree with the previous opinion, but I want to add that in Hurghada there are not only vacationing compatriots, but permanent residents (I know a couple of married couples) who do not complain about the deterioration of the situation. Tourist areas are indeed always well guarded. Think. that of course this is a matter of chance, but in Moscow and other cities of the Russian Federation, you can also get into various critical situations. returned on August 12th. Rested in Hurghada AMC Royal Resort. Everything is calm, only hot, but this is not a hindrance for traveling. went to the island. snorkelling on the reefs. recommend. They even took a chance and went to Luxor 5 hours there and 5 back. through the desert and mountains. Very beautiful. rode the Nile in a boat. Impressive

I want to say that the situation there was straining in terms of lack of people (the hotel was filled for 5-6 thousand for 250-300 people). The impudent Ukrainians gouged their brains with their politics and panache that there are no Russians there. All the water parks were closed, in the stores the Egyptians simply madly begged to buy something, but the prices were not reduced. At the airport, there were problems with the return of passports to my wife and I in a neutral line. A sticker on the bus that drove to the plane "Who is not alive is dead." But we were on the islands, swam, talked, took a tour of Hurghada (churches, mosques), were in the museum of sand figures. Now is simply not the best time to be there until the tourist system of trips to this wonderful world resort is fully restored.
